There is one Usurper: Sima Yi. He is an underling in one of the middle kingdoms. At some point in the game, he will begin recruiting followers to his cause. When his Emperor dies, Sima Yi becomes an Emperor (at which point he can no longer recruit) and his followers become the Jin faction.

So do you think the cult can't win until they become the Jin faction? Is that what you're implying? I really don't know. You say recruits are useless while the emperor is alive, but I would rather keep the number of recruits to as few as possible, yeah?

If what I think you're implying is true, keeping the emperor's alive would be a positive, not a negative as was discussed in early game.

yes. in reality, Sima Yi usurped the ruler of Wei, which had at that point steamrolled Shu.

I don't know how the recruitment works (since i'm not Sima Yi. my guess is, untill their emperor dies, the recruits do not have the Jin winning condition. they may not even know they were recruited.

this naturally makes it very hard for Sima Yi to operate, balance-wise, but i'm not too keen on this point--given how the game is structured to give xia and Lu a handicap vs Yan.

so I believe that before you your emperor is lynched, you are not in direct danger. which means that (non withstanding the barbarians--we don't know how the recruit ment affects them, i'd guess they were recruit-proof, not being a part of the kingdom's administration and all), at this point there could be right now at most 2 people who would CF as Jin--Sima Yi and potentially the last remainign Lu (thyr?)

might be. it would actually be quite logical to make that their winning condition, tbh--a small barbarian horde (say 50-400k) taking ver 3 kingdoms with armies numbering in the millions? not likely.

I don't think D'rek did that though. although it'd be quite funny if tomorrow the last Lu dies and Kaschan and Okaros (my random guess for Ma Chao's crew right now) are pronounced winners.

Well this confirms that the message sent out was false. Now whether or not Emur lied about receiving the message or the massage itself was a lie is important. If the message was a lie, then we can assume that someone who was getting pressured before day's end was desperate and sent out a message to deflect. Or Emur never received the message and wanted to deflect heat off of someone, but I imagine others could have received the message and can confirm if it is true or not. If we can confirm that the message was sent, then we can look at Karosis once more.
