OK ladies and gentlemen, please PM me if you want in.
As soon as your sign-up is confirmed, I'd like you to start on a character write up (let's say, around 500 words).

A few things to keep in mind:
- few deathmatches have ever finished before. Let's try to make it different this time;
- the schedule is going to be tight, no waiting on people;
- this is a deathmatch. So your protagonist will get hurt, maimed and almost inevitably killed;
- originality gets you far;
- no existing people, religious/film/book/poetry/folk tale characters;
- no sexual violence;
- give your opponent something to use against your character;
- no editing after posting.

I intend to close the sign up somewhere late july, character write ups have to be finalized by august 15.

Can I be tentative in? I'd love to participate, and if the characters only have to be done by August 15, I'm sweet for that - if you need something earlier, like progress report, I'm going to struggle with the sign-up closing date, obviously. Though I will have my computer in the UK, I've got a busy holiday planned. :lol:

i'm still trying to remember how the last one died... wasn't I supposed to go up against STD or something?

anyhow, I'm not sure I could think of anything to top my last char, but if I think of something I think will be presentable, I'll let you guys know before deadline.

EDIT: reading back , i still can't believe I my intro post got the votes from all 3 judges that time....

Before our posts got nuked I asked why this one won't allow "existing people, religious/film/book/poetry/folk tale characters" unlike previous ones and just how far does that go? Would Morgoth and Ben Doran from UDM IV have counted as "existing people"?

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

My problem is that i'm getting too many ideas. I have like three characters juggling in my head.

Mainly because I wanted orginal weird stuff and give the religious amongst us the guarantee to not have to face Jesus :lol:
I'd be OK with the Ben Doran & Morghy thing, personally.

Wouldn't a better requirement then for the characters to be original inventions? That way you can retain such characters as Morgoth and Ben Doran, while avoiding someone bringing in Jesus.

I'm...debating. I really wanted to finish the last deathmatch, since I liked that character a lot.
You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.
