I somehow doubt Amnion recruits would get the recruiting ability passed on. seems a bit OP to me.

then the question becomes: who do we think they'd have recruited?
was there anyone drawing any heat away form D'riss?

Well ... I do wonder why D'riss wanted to hear from Barghast. Then suddenly changed his mind, and dropped the hammer. What was so important about another opinion?

I think he was just trying to look respectable while the train was small, but when it L-1 he couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a lynch he knew wasn't cult.

Maybe ... but he mentions Barghast a bunch in his last few posts - four times in his last seven posts. Like he really, really wanted to hear from him. Then decided he didn't need to after all.
And Barghast has lain real low the past day or two. Like, non-existent.
We also don't seem to be talking about your, uh, reveal, or it's long-term implications.

not really all that much to talk about the latter. it sounds like Ano got some bad intel. me and fener backed him up cuz we wanted the dragon gone.

Characters-wise, we've got Morn, Nick, Warden, Hashi, Min and Godsen left. Canonically, none of them were ever on the Amnion-side, so it would make sense for them not to be Amnion starters.
This makes it seem as though the UMC is gone, and it's only Trumpet, UMCP, and one recruit.

Sorry for my lack of participation yesterday, things were a bit hectic.
It seems to me all the original cult have been eliminated and if the recruiting ability gets passed on they would be stupidly overpowered - we've hit cult pretty much every night and they could still win if the ability is passed on. So we've got one, maybe two recruits left. With both the Dragon and Angus Termopyle dead, it seems unlikely we with have any more NKs. Based on Ano's hinting he is highly unlikely to be a recruit (or got recruited last night and is incredibly unlucky). I highly doubt Fener and Okaros would have witheld their votes yesterday if they were cult, so I'm going to put them pretty low down on the list for now. I know I'm not a recruit, which just leaves Alkend and Kalse. Now Alkend has been a revealed trumpet for a couple of days and seems like a pretty prime recruit material. Kalse we know pretty much nothing about and to be honest I think he's more likely to be the recruit, since he's played well and is probably the person I would have recruited early on if I were cult. The fact that I had Kalse, D'riss and Eloth down as my shortlist for cult last night also means I think Kalse will be the best place to look this morning.

I have just got up, i'll be on around an hour and a half, looking at that we should have killed all amnion, yet I have no message from PS confirming if I have won, so I guess we must be dealing with a recruit.
It must be something like 2 2 1 1 because only one UMC has died. I think the best option would to be lynch whoever we think is a recruit and kill off one other. I'd be thinking, Kalse Barghast or Fener as possible recruit, Okaros and Ano played yesterday brilliantly and are the two people I trust the most. I have trusted kalse quite a lot but my intuition was wrong with merrid and serc, so it could be wrong here. Fener was almost voted for a couple of times, and I cannpt peg Barghast at all. I'l read through the rest a little later when i'm in work..

yea our conditions have been met but other teams can still win or lose so we continue.
There must be a recruit around here someplace.
I aso think that Karat was the only UMC member...he most likely had to simply survive till the end or something.
Probably had a few NK and Recruitment BP's
As of yesterday i am sure that Barghast and Okaros where not yet recruited.
I was fairly sure ano had not been....but now that i think on it, his decision to reveal and call out the director might have been a ploy from him being recent recruit to open up the game and expose UMCP to his new cult team.
Kalse is still the only person i have no idea about.
He didnt know who the hell karat was...well it looked like that when Ano wanted to lynch him.
So he shouldn't be UMCP or UMC
Maybe he is a trumpet then?
I would say kalse is the best bet....and then Alkend and lastly Anomander.
thoughts?...

I don't think it's a matter of first/second place, people either win or they don't. I am thinking once we get the recruit the game will end, obviously ano can kill so if we lynch the person we think is the recruit then ano can back it up by killing off one of the three thats left, so in my opinion we have ano and okaros, leaving me, fener, kalse and barghast, if we lynch barghast then he can kill off either fener or kalse or me. that would leave okaros, ano and 2 others, if they lynch one and kill one then okaros and ano should be left to win. i doubt a recruit would have recruiting abilities, milos must have been the last recruiter

it seems to everyone that the original cult has been eliminated, we have all discussed this already. why would i get recruited when i was a prime target, are you saying that cult wouldn't be a little more clever than that? I agree on the fact that ano and okaros seem the least likely to be recruited that's what i said above.
i'd be happy with a kalse or barghast lynch and then ano can have another good kill tonight, if not we lynch again and he strikes home for the win.

That's pretty much what I think, with the addition that Kalse might be the second UCM character listed in the wiki entry who has been recruited and therefore didn't mind voting off his master... I agree with the order too, unless someone has significant light to shed on the situation.

I don't know why D'riss would wait for me, other than it being the reasonable thing to do and therefore a good move to avoid suspicion.
Ano hinting that he killed D'riss does not equate to Ano can kill, so I wouldn't go and make plans based around that ability. If he still can it would be nice, but it seemed to me that Angus was the one actually doing the killing and he is now dead. There is also the chance that Ano was recruited last night and I don't see someone getting to keep an ability like that after joining the cult. It might even be unnecessary, if cult can no longer recruit it might be better to take things slow and make sure all deaths from here on out are through on-thread consensus.
Why you would or would not get recruited is WIFOM. I think the chances are lower that you were, but I think it would be a bad move to rule you out because you were an obvious choice.

@Alkend....barghast did something yesterday that he would not have been able to do if he where recruited.
So i am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for today. Unless he was recruited last night i highly doubt he is recruited now. But anybody could have been recruited last night...so...
The fact that Okaros, like myself could not vote for Karat yesterday shows me that like Barghast....he too was not a recruit as of yesterday.
Now i know these two guys are in my faction.....and if they are anything like me there should be some protection with regards to getting recruited in the first place.
Be it from another player like myself or BP's or watever....so it is less likely that any of these two have been recruited.
Anomander from yesterday has shown knowledge that proves he was at least UMCP at some point...and if i read it correctly he is the guy doing the NK's which i dont think he would be killing cult members if he was still cult.
So.....that leaves Kalse and You, Alkend.
granted....any one of us that is left could have been recruited last night.... But i would rather go for the guys i am less sure about first.
