nothing like a greasy burger to help shake of a hangover

As long as it's accompanied by a huge milkshake. Seriously, cold+sweet+chocolate/vanilla is a great mind soother and hangover killer. I swear by this method.

And seriously, all caps? That's how my 65 year old uncle writes his emails....

Might your 65 year old uncle be our mysterious guest player?

Best cure for a hangover is to get drunk again, but that isn't always the most practical.

Yeah, getting drunk again works well too. I'm getting too old for benders though.

If everyone gets "FUNNY YOUTUBE CAT PLAYING BANJO" pm'd to their inbox, then it just might be him.

Game set up

Four teams, the Amnion (cult), the crew of the trumpet, The U.M.C. and The U.M.C.P.

several victory conditions means that more than one team can win.

No quoting PMs on thread.

Ummm... length of day? length of night? are there day actions? if there are are they resolved iron-man style or at the end or what? do we get a CF? how detailed is it? is there a set modkill time for inactivity?

I WANT MORE INFO -_-

Good morning. It looks like it is a shame I have never read any of these. So uncle is playing in this game. It has been a long time since he played with us. Welcome back uncle. -_-

I'd say that what info Roldom provided is all you need.
Of course there is a modkill timer... goes without saying. -_-
It's traditional to make it last for slightly longer than the full length of a day and have extensions available to those who ask for them, so we roll with that.

Your attempt at fishing for day actions is appreciated, but no further info forthcoming :p.

If that is a summary for the books I just might have to pick them up. Sounds interesting.

hey hey... setup looks interesting.

Alwasy wanted to read GAP series.

Had to stop reading the OP though as its seems a tad bit too spoilerific...hopes its not a requirement to do so.

Reading post 3 is enough basic information to play the game -_-

- T.

Now he tells me after I read the OP. But it sounds like it's not a last faction standing type of game with the mention of multiple win conditions.

I'm not likely going to be on for the rest of the day so I'm signing off after I give a ribbing to one of the missing posters.

I don't like this. I've only read the first book in the Gap cycle. I bought the second one in Uni, but didn't read it, b/c I needed a refresher. tand then I left it in Uni. gah

the trumpet people are the crew of the ship trumpet, more or less, which is covertly sent by the umpc, but isnt controlled by them.

Why should we worry about people whose only means of attack is to blast their trumpet like noses at us?

Oh nose here they come blasting revelly. No mommy I don't want to get up.

That seems reasonable. They are the only ones who are more with every night, after all.

@PS: Is the Trumpet the ship angus is on after being released? Iirc that is the only one you mentions as being sent covertly.

Story aside (and Roldom can tell you all about that, I can't), I personally really can't see how this is relevant for the game apart from you people trying to pigeonhole book people (aka potential roles) to factions. I'm not going to aid you guys with that.

Ah sorry, it's just that the Trumpet is not mentioned at all in the OP and I have no real clue where to place it.
