Just doing a re-read of TCG and noticed a significant amount of foreshadowing for the end of the book:

The one that jumps out most is Ges sittign with Bent having a chat about how old they are feeling and having a flashback to when they found the dogs with truth and Ges makes a remark that he would die for Bent.

There was another one that I will need to check up on again that related to Ruthan Gudd.

I'm rereading MT and on page 373 UK paperback Brys thinks to himself '... and Kolanse had subsided into isolation following some sort of civil war a few decades past.'

And on page 378 Brys and the Ceda are talking about Turudal Brizad/The Errant:

'What? Oh, Turudal Brizad' - Brys
'Ah yes. Such an errant, troubled lad.' - The Ceda
