I just finished read The Crippled God and loved it like the rest of the series, but I am not sure if I missed some things or nothing was concluded but was wondering if anyone knows if there will be anything that wraps up any of the storylines that didn't really get answered like How did tavore know everything that she knew, what happened to Silverfox, why did Laseen let herself be cornered by Korbolo Dom and then killed, what happened to Tayscheen, is Karsa Orlong going to still get his army and destroy the world, Someone in the Bonehunters(cant remember who) was looking for another Talon like he was did he ever find him, who were all the remaining Talons, what happened to Toc the Elder and does the Host going back to the Malazan Empire to take claim of it? If I missed any of these answer please let me know!

Silverfox will be in Ian Cameron Esslemont's Assail book whenever that's released, Laseen, Korbolo Dom, Toc the Elder and Tayschrenn are all in ICE's Return of the Crimson Guard out now, there's going to be a trilogy focusing on Karsa going home that Erikson's doing after he finishes the Kharkanas trilogy (he's writing the first now), the other Talon Throatslitter was looking for was probably Tavore, and she probably knew a lot of events due to magic.

Tavore mentioned she was a child of the Emperor. I was not sure if that's literal child of Kel himself.

Silverfox - I think she went to the Assail. Suppose to be another set of books about that area. There's still other FA around besides those who dies in TCG book.

I think Laseen was losing control of the Empire, so she took her own fight in her terms (stealth in the battler field)

Talon vs Claw organization is a nice concept, and definitely would be a ripe world for writing about assassin warfare

Toc the Elder hides well in the past, is there any motive for him to come out ever post Laseen death?

Tay and his visit to Chaos would be a nice story.

Karsa is suppose to be in the Tobalkai trilogy, rumor/fact?

Malick Rel is the Emperor, the Host is still Malazan Army. Not sure what happens to the Bonehunters.

I think it's fair to say that any motive sufficiently powerful enough to make Toc the Elder come back into the series after the events of The Return of the Crimson Guard would be one of staggering importance.

Not literal. She's a Paran, sister of Ganoes & Felisin; I think someone would know if the Emperor had been shagging Mrs Paran. Also, I figure she'd have a bit darker colouring if that was the case, considering Kel was Dal Honese.

Not literal. She's a Paran, sister of Ganoes & Felisin; I think someone would know if the Emperor had been shagging Mrs Paran. Also, I figure she'd have a bit darker colouring if that was the case, considering Kel was Dal Honese.

Thank you everyone, I just read all the book of the fallen over the last year and did not even know about the Esselmont novels I will get into those asap and come back with questions about things that those books may not have answered, thank you.

You mean Felisin Fatter? i imagine that salvation is now unaligned, like paran thought it would be.

i spent 9 1000page books thinking the crippled gods destruction was the main plot...only to find 2/3rds the way thru the final book that his salvation was now our principal characters main objective....only to have that notion thwarted by said gods murder...typical erickson

We never know -for sure- that Sinn was going to double-cross everyone and steal the heart. It's just a conclusion gesler and stormy made because she was so damned scary and inhuman. For all we know she mighta smiled and lobbed the heart up to the Shi'gal assassin after a nice Forkrul Flambe.
