Got to say, genuinely gutted about this. Always loved Ryan Giggs, looked up to him almost as he wasn't like most of the rest of the overpaid footballers. He seemed like he was a nice bloke and a fair player, not some prima donna who was more famous for their antics off the pitch than on.

This is all stupid. It's his private affair, and we've no right to know about his life.

However by getting a super injunction, he's walking into the flaming shitstorm which is our privacy law/legal system and thus it is now of public interest. It's like trying to keep things quite by waving a red rag at fleet street.
