Haha, y'all shouldn't be so damn bloodthirsty! No really, in the book it's described how the crows were flicking pieces of meat around (which is how it came to cover Paran and his horse) and there's guts everywhere, picked out eyes and torn off limbs etc etc. I even made Paran's horse white with this in mind. In the end though, I couldn't bring myself to mutilate the horses and picked out eyes and slabs of meat everywhere looked disgusting.
And thank you all for the kind words

You took out a "guts and gore" layer and there's still pools of blood, a severed arm and more blood leaking out of the dead guy's mouth?!
Looks great! I really like the (gross) crows and the horse looks almost peacefully sleeping except for the blood pooling... The only change I might recommend is that Paran's horse's back leg looks a bit too angled for it to be standing up straight.
And lastly it's good to see you're tackling scenes that haven't been done on the forum before! Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
I had worried about the angle of the hind leg but more because its rump got cut out of the picture and now you can't really see the twist of the body so I thought that might look weird. I see you are right about it being to bent though, I'll straighten it out
