Gonna do this in phrases, easily the best episode imo.

Sandor Vs. Gregor, dope
Little lords with titty juice on their chins
Crazy lady on the mountain
Jory stabbed through the eye
Super flamer loras BJ scene
outside of the castle looks super cool
Theon's got some issues.

Man that was a great episode.

The fight at the end really got me. Even though I knew it was coming, I was seriously upset both when Jory got killed so off-handedly, and when that redcloak stabbed Ned. His duel with Jaime was awesome.

Oh, and the Mountain decapitating his horse may be the most insane thing I've ever seen on t.v. I was basically like... "Oh my god, look at the size of that swor... oh my god, there's blood everywhere."

Don't forget Varys' accusation to Littlefinger that one of the services he provides is access to the recently departed. And of course the titty sucking eight year old. HBO actually took it there, be damned obscenity laws!

I was shocked to see Ned fight Jamie. Was pretty cool though.
“The others followed, and found themselves in a small, stuffy basement, which would have been damp, smelly, close, and dark, were it not, in fact, well-lit, which prevented it from being dark.”

Best episode yet... but I get the feeling we'll be saying that a lot!

A site I write for has reviews of every episode, and the editor's article on the cinematics in the opening was appreciated by GRRM himself. Check the site out here: Dork Shelf

I know, that'd be a troll type comment - but hey, I've got well over 200 comments on here. I'm here to stay! :(

I knew Jorry went down, but it has been almost a decade since I read the series and the gap is blissful - allowing me to remember most things but be excited to remember because I had forgotten up until it arrived (besides major events, of course). Keep up the good work, HBO!

I think the folks over at the production diary sums it up quite nicely:

”Breast-feeding, eye-stabbing, nipple-shaving, horse-chopping... and Theon Greyjoy unexpectedly released his Kraken. … the action on ‘Game of Thrones’ got a little twisted this week...”
