Looks like AWZ (Kindle) is unavailable at the moment. I think it is supposed to be MOBI instead.
I have posted the link to Steve's website on Mobilereads forum.

There's a typo in the Mobi format link. Fix it to read "azw" at the end, and then it'll work.

I get a '404 Not Found' for PDF, DOC and Text...

Opening from this site didn't work for me. However, going to SE's main site, then selecting free-book, and then selecting PDF worked on my machine.
Hope this helps.

Hm. Hockey? Normally I'd pass, but hey, it's SE, and even on the first page I can see the style.
I might even read this one, even though I'm not much for non-fantasy/s-f fiction. I'll probably even enjoy it! Though style similarities will keep me expect a warren to open at any time

It was - Steve was keen to do the signing as it was there that he and China Mieville together, coincidentally, did their first book signings 10 or so years ago.
Steve was pretty chipper - told us FoD is coming along nicely, which was good to hear. Quite a lot of people where there - Peter Hamilton, Trudi Canavan, China Mieville and a number of others with whom I am not familiar, but we picked up some books and will be having a read through to see what they're all about. Never been to a signing where they serve wine and soft drinks before - lol.. so that was a nice touch by Heffers. Very well organised event I thought although time for talks and readings was a little shorter than I would have liked.
Also good to meet up with Steve's editor again (such a lovely man) - he's promised to send us some B&B trilogy copies for competitions and stuff, so we shall have to think about what would be a good one.

It's funny that, even though this was published back in 2004, the Phoenix Coyotes (Winnipeg Jets) just barely scraped together enough money to stay in Arizona two days ago. I wonder if the prospect of the team returning inspired him to put this up?
