So when we found out that the bugs in the Glass Desert were actually a God that was driven insance and made into a D'Ivers, did anyone else's mind automatically go to Grizzin Farl, you know, until we found out it was the Forkrul Assail god? Does it say anywhere that the Forkrul Assail's god is NOT Grizzin Farl? It would make sense that Grizzin Farl is not in 'corporeal' form if he's the FA god made into D'Ivers, wouldn't it?

That was my exact thought, and it made so much sense that they weren't able to reach him, as the FA god had 'died' in a sense.

This doesn't quite contradict that, but someone with magnificent quote fu dropped a passage from Midnight Tides a while back where someone was discussing the various names for Justice (as an object of worship) had among races. The Forkrul Assail name was mentioned and it was nothing like Grizzin Farl.
This of course doesn't mean anything in particular, as the Forkrul Assail's name for Justice and the name of their god could be two separate things.

Rath Avain would be the name that was given by Olar Ethil as the FA aspect of herself. Rath makes me think of the priests in Capustan; think maybe the FA god is Avain and that Olar Ehtil Rath Avain was the god's voice much like Rath'Fener/Trake/Hood etc were supposed to be?
Nah, gotta be Grizzin Farl!

'That's the thing with the Just Wars - they never end and never will because Justice is a weak god with too many names. The Liosan called it Serkanos and the Assail called it Rynthan'

Erikson specifically stated in an interview that Grizzin Farl would not be appearing in the series. Meaning either he is preoccupied else where or he is dead/trapped/wandered into chaos.

Yes well, SE has lied in an interview previously. Don't remember what it was, exactly, but I'm thinking it was Hounds of Light, so.....
We were never given the actual name of the FA god in TCG, and Beak's POV is just that, a POV, so not necessarily the truth.
Truthfully, I just wanted to mention how I was all excited cause I was sure it was going to be Grizzin Farl, until we found out it was the FA god.
