Not a shocker. Game of thrones renewed. 4.2 million viewers for the first episode. A good number but then again it's HBO. HBO always makes good TV shows.

Waiting for the 10 season spin-off: The Chronicles of King Bronn
Also, I am sure that while fantasy is going to become the "big thing" for at least 15 minutes, SE should try to cash in Chain of Dogs miniseries. I love that sequence more than the whole ASoIaF series (minus Bronn of course).

I think GoT has in part revealed to me that it just couldn't be done as a TV series, it would be just too much.
It's have to be something like the Dune miniseries they did, and even then, I'm still not sure the format would be up to the job.
