And it's back to its regular colour by DoD.

Hmm.
1. Wasn't Gu'rull supposed to have a short snout? Also, way more muscular.
2. I always thought Gesler was bald. No proof, just a feeling.

1. I think he has an elongated head at least, nt sure about the snout though. Anyone have any quotes on this? And yes, will add more muscles!
2. Says his head is shaved, at some point during the series, but don't know if that still applies.
Thanks!
1. Quote from DoD, page 42.
Quote
The Shi'gal lifted his foreshortened snout.
2. Gesler lost all his hair while travelling through Kurald Thyrllan, as did Stormy. Stormy's grew back but I can't remember if Gesler's did or not.
Ah, thanks

Blonde actually. Stormy had red hair and Gesler blond.

Wasn't the Shigal Assassins supposed to be 6 meters tall or something like that?

Gu'Rull is twice the height of a K'ell Hunter. Can't find how tall they are. Taller than a man though certainly, so a Shi'Gal is at least upwards of twelve feet tall. If you're looking for references on Gu'Rull's appearance, here's what I could find, though I've probably missed something, it wasn't that comprehensive a search, just a quick flick through DoD.
Quote
Shi'gal Gu'Rull stood upon the very edge of Brow, the night winds howling round his tall, lean form.
...
The Shi'gal lifted his foreshortened snout and opened his nostril slits to scent the chill night air. The wind came from the east and, as usual, it stank of death.
...
With this in mind, Gu'Rull unfolded his month-old wings, spreading the elongated feather-scales
...
The two new eyes beneath the lines of his jaw now opened for the first time
...
The hinged claws on his narrow, long fingers slowly emerged from their membrane sheaths, slick with neural venom - although in the case of these soft-skinned humans, poison was not necessary.
...
Gu'Rull tilted his head, as if amused by Sag'Churok, but his four eyes held unwavering on the huge K'ell Hunter, as if not too proud to admit to a measure of respect. This was, to Kalyth, a startling concession. The Shi'gal Assassin was almost twice Sag'Churok's height, and even without swords in his hands his reach matched that of the K'ell Hunter's weapon-extended arms.

Btw, how tall are Jaghut?
I forgot to mention that Gu'rull is sorta crouched here, so he's not "displayed" at full height

I have no idea, but googling cattle dogs I came up with something like this:
For some reason I have an image of Bent not being very tall, just very heavily muscled. Like those muscle dogs its so popular for idiot teenage girls to aquire.

I also had more of a picture of Bent crouching over Gesler's body, basically snarling at anyone that gets near him. But that's likely wrong.

I don't think Gelser would have any hair, being as they'd just been running through that fireball after all

Ah yes, I remember that bit now. Example pretty much nails it.
Someone really needs to paint that scene, by the way. Gesler dead, Bent sidled up to him, Reverence a shattered mess on the ground and Hood staring at Gu'Rull while he gathers the Heart. Would be epic.

I agree, that scene is one of the scenes etched into my head from the entire series. I think that along with in DHG
He draws a half broken tulwar, waves it over his head and shouts "The Wickans! The Wickans! The Wickans
those two scenes are among my favorites

someone said earlier that the FA pures seemed to go down easily in this epic. I have something to say kind of related to that, I thought it was ironic that Brys , one of the worlds greatest swordsmen, never really showcased his skills in either of the last two books. He kept talking about how he had been sent back for some special purpose and I thought it was strange that at one point it looked like he was brought back to kill a FA with names of fallen gods and not a sword...
I have seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter at the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain...."

I never considered Bent that tall either.
As for Ke'll's heights, while I dont have the time right now to look, and I am blanking on which one, but I can think of 2 places they may be described.
1st - The book where Gruntle travels from Darujhistan to Capustan, at one point they run into some of the undead K'ells. May be the first time they are mentioned?
2nd - the book where Toc, Tool, Envy, and the Segulah are making their way up from Morn. I recall them running into some of the Hunters.
If no one checks I will in the next few days
