On the 21st day, you find a note in treemail that reads.

"Patience is a virtue,
don't be in a hurry,
unless you want to be,
the next one on the jury."

You pack up your belongings and head to the arena for the challenge.

"C'mon in guys!" Jeff calls as you file into the arena. "Guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge?" Jeff asks. Naturally, everyone says yes.

"For today, you will each have one, raised arm strapped to a large metal rod hanging over your head. The rod is attached to a large cannister above you. Inside that cannister is some colored water. If you move your arm more than a few inches, the cannister will fall on you and you will be out of the challenge. Last one standing wins immunity."

This challenge appears to require Endurance. No setup from you is required, so I can start pretty soon, but I will give people a chance to submit pre-challenge actions, if they wish.

The Challenge will begin in 2-3 hours.

"Alright... everyone is now strapped in place... and this Challenge... is... on..." Jeff intones softly as everyone begins the trial.

3 minutes into the challenge...

"How long will you be able to hold this pose... flies buzzing around... making you itch..."

Clclckckc...SPLOOOOSH comes out a sound as one competitor drops out.

"Ruse drops out after only a few minutes!"

12 minutes into the challenge

"Lot of people looking really comfortable right now... Anomandaris is finding a spot in his center... Karatallid looks like he's doing fine... Okaros really hanging in there... Tulas Shorn has no trouble holding on... Serc wobbling..."

Serc shuffles his feet a bit and says, "Foot going asleep, that's all."

"Serc's fine... Liosan looking a little worn out..."

"Sunuva..!" someone shouts followed by two quick splashes!

"Kalse and Merrid are out of this challenge! What happened?"

Merrid says, "His water splashed on me and I lost my concentration!" Kalse merely shrugs helplessly.

"Eight people remain..."

32 minutes into the challenge

"You guys have been at this for over 30 minutes now... Alkend really struggling... Okaros really struggling..."

Alkend shouts out, "Ahhhhhh!" as he attempts to find the strength to continue.

"You gotta dig deep to win this... don't give up!"

It appears to be too much, however, for one castaway, as moments later, a splash is heard.

"Okaros is out of this challenge! Seven left..."

39 minutes into the challenge...

"Ugh... Jeff, I think I'm gonna give up," says Liosan.

"You sure, Liosan?" says Jeff. "You could be making a million dollar mistake! You've hung in here..." he checks his watch, "39 minutes already."

"Yeah... but I don't think there's any chance I can outlast most of these guys..."

Jeff shrugs. "Your call, not mine."

Liosan smiles and pulls the bucket down.

"Liosan is done! Only six remain!"

45 minutes into the challenge

"Ahhhh!" Alkend screams again. He's been doing it fairly consistently for the last few minutes.

"Arm really hurting Alkend..." Jeff indicates, stating the obvious.

"Ahhhh....ahh!" Alkend screams once more and his arm drops.

"Alkend is out of the challenge! Five people left!"

60 minutes into the challenge...

"One hour has passed... everyone looking like an absolute rock..."

71 minutes into the challenge

"Anomandaris has not moved in almost half an hour... Eloth is smiling."

"Hurts so good, Jeff... can't even feel it anymore!" Eloth exclaims.

"Eloth feeling confident... Serc looking good, too... Tulas Shorn and Karatallid shifting weight a lot..."

"Thank you for stating the obvious, Jeff..." says Karatallid, grumbling.

Jeff seems to enjoy this comment and follows up with, "Sun's getting pretty hot, I think..."

Karatallid says something under his breath. A bead of sweat begins to race down his cheek. It must tickle because Karatallid goes to wipe it off... but uses his wrong hand! The cannister immediately falls down, dousing him."

"Ah...dammit!" Karatallid says, marching to the losers' bench.

"Karatallid's done! Four left... Anomandaris, Eloth, Serc, Tulas Shorn...!"

76 minutes into the challenge

"Tulas Shorn has been shifting and shuffling for ten straight minutes... and he's still in there... everyone else really starting to wear out... someone's gonna win this... make sure it's you!"

Without warning, a bucket splashes down.

"Serc is out of it! What happened?"

"F*cking arm fell asleep and... I dunno..." Serc says, clearly struggling for an answer.

80 minutes into the challenge

"Anomandaris is really struggling now...!" Anomandaris can be heard to moan to himself.

"My arm feels like a lead weight now, Jeff," says Eloth.

Tulas Shorn says nothing, his eyes fixed on the ground.

"Tulas really digging deep... he's still here... who won't be?"

Splash!

"Eloth is done! We are down to two! Anomandaris... and Tulas Shorn!"

90 minutes into the challenge

"How long can you hang like this, Ano?" says Tulas Shorn, talking to Anomandaris.

"It hurts... but I'm not giving up! I want this!" Anomandaris declares. The look on his face makes it clear he is not kidding.

"Well... I just... I don't think I can..." says Tulas... stammering. Finally, his hand drops, his exhaustion evident.

"Anomandaris wins immunity!"

Jeff motions Anomandaris over to him and puts the necklace on. "Anomandaris, congratulations... that was an incredible test of will out there. You almost fell out of it a few times... the rest of you... tonight, Tribal Council, and one of you will become the second member of our Jury and join Barghast. We'll see who it's going to be... see you tonight."
