Silencer still hasn't set up the alts so it may have to wait until Sunday at this point. Worst case scenario, we start the game one day later (Tue) if necessary from people taking a bit to set up.
Just figure out what you want to do so it's a quick process once the alts are assigned =)
Sorry =)

Yeah, my bad. Got home late last night...errr, early this morning, what with mid-term break partying and whatnot. I'm setting up the alts now.

Are we allowed to discuss our roles that we chose with others?
Are we allowed to give up the immunity idol if we feel it is in our best interest to use it to save another player? i.e. x and y are the only 2 possible votes due to circumstances.
x is on my team and I have the idol. Y is on the opposing side. I give the idol to x. Make sense?

Yes, you may discuss your roles to your heart's content. You may share any details that you wish from RL alt names to ability names and strategy and whatnot.
Yes, you may give up a Hidden Immunity Idol or Individual Immunity Necklace at will.
Giving away an Individual Immunity Necklace is considered somewhat unorthodox, so there's no official rule for it, but if you want to, you may. However, you'll have to announce you're doing it in advance of Tribal Council so that people know that individual may not be voted for. Giving away a Hidden Immunity Idol is definitely a strategic move that may happen in the game. Simply indicate you are doing so privately and I'll make sure the individual knows in case they wish to play it.

Let me go ahead and clarify all of those with some rules.
III. Tribal Council
4. In order to use a Hidden Immunity Idol, simply indicate such in a PM to Path-Shaper. If you do *not* use it and are voted out, the idol cannot be used after the fact. If you do not use it and are part of a tie vote, you may *not* play it during the tie-breaker vote.
5. To give up a Hidden Immunity Idol, you must indicate such in a PM to Path-Shaper. You need not share an alliance with your targeted player.
6. To give up an Individual Immunity Necklace, simply announce it on thread, in bold, such as
Give Individual Immunity to <Player>. Doing so will, of course, forfeit your own immunity at Tribal Council. You must announce this as early as possible after a Challenge. If someone votes early for a player who was given the necklace, the player will get another chance to vote.

Most, but not all, people have selected roles at this point. When all are selected, I will create the "first post," and the game will commence! The game begins in the "Challenges" forum, and you will receive your passwords once it's time.

Hopefully the last few people will get their roles in over night and we can start first thing the morning (for me).

Still missing one person... but I have already divided up the people into tribes and am itching to go. Hopefully this person will be on soonish today and if not, I'll find a replacement.
Tribe and password information is going out now!

Can anyone actually 'access' the forums? I can enter the password and it appears to work but then I'm redirected back to enter my password again and again. This happens for all of the game forums and also for spoilers.
Not sure if the forum move is still having an issue or two...

Merrid and I have both accessed the Azathenai forum. I had to physically type in the word potato.
I couldn't remember the TC password, could you post that here?

I sent a PM to an admin to look into it. If it can't be easily resolved, the password will be disabled on that forum and we'll play out the remainder of the game that way.

Dude I have been in on the grey skin for most of the day.
Ok a little bit more. I was able to access the thread using the password at both work and school. Both places don't save cookies and operate in private mode all the time. Then when I got home I tried to get into the thread on mozilla (which is our default browser) and ran into the same problem as before. So I opened up Explorer and was able to access it with out any problems. It might have something to do with the browser that your using retaining the cookies from the previous server and preventing the password from working. Just a guess though.
