Also annoyed with Omtose... he's currently the low poster and by his posting time yesterday,he won't make it back today until the very end... if at all. He didn't seem to care for the sudden train on Fener but didn't go into much detail on it.

Fener's also a low-poster (7 to Omtose's 6) and although he's at 4 votes... he doesn't have a whole lot to say. Not sure if I should be suspicious or impressed by his ambivalence.

Don't shoot the harbingers of fate man, besides, Osseric also voted Fener as well.

Nevermind the fact that, for whatever reason and despite the fact that alts are supposedly randomly distributed, the harsh reality has been that Fener has been a scum more often than not, and, as it is only day 1 with little to really go on, Fener is a logical candidate to vote off. Also, to defend a probable scum may be construed as suggestive of an internal scuminess as well.

Actually, I don't remember the exact order of events, but there is a wee bit of a case to vote for Fener. He openly asked if he needed to read through the day one spam and when people were telling him not to he later admitted that he didn't read it. I don't know about you but if people in mafia told me not to read the thread, that would make me want to read it all that much more. I feel much better voting for someone for admitting that reading the thread is unimportant. versus voting for them because, HEY. YOU'RE UGLY.

Oh I know all about the Fener alt. I am not blind to its ability to defy probabilistic expectations... I just don't know what we'll learn from it.

I'm OK with the lynch and one reason I haven't just voted Merrid yet is I'm not sure I want him gone over Fener at this point. Merrid's at least trying to incite discussion. Fener doesn't seem to give a shit.

I don't really think anybody thinks that's the reason he's kept his votes... but yes, it's quite odd. I thought it was amusing when he said that and then didn't come back. All I can think is that he 1) doesn't give a shit about the game or 2) doesn't want to let on that he really doesn't want to be lynched.

If it's #1, he's probably a combination of busy, unable to devote as much time as the rest of us, and probably doesn't have too interesting a role (which is saying a lot because this is Spycraft where interesting roles drop from the sky). If it's #2, he's probably scum. You could probably argue that he's a "safe" lynch because the upside (scum on day 1 and the ability to pretty much CI several people who started his train) is pretty good compared to the downside (lynch a fairly unimportant town character).

Interesting logic. Honestly I expected the train on Fener to fade away by the end of the day, but I think his sudden appearance and subsequent absence are making people suspicious (or at least irritated).
