Edit: turned around on to.

i'm thinking that this game could be remembered for the whole reversal of a lynch to start with. I'm a life. it doesn't matter what faction, i'm probably in the betting pot anyway.

We do not know what Silanah is, she could be a captain, a second or an FM. There is more possibility her being one of these than me, no one with this role could be me.

they tried to lynch me in my sleep, not even face to face. i was on all day, they could have voted then but they chose to wait until i had gone from the thread. its like a back door stabbing.

Now that's a little paranoid and highly unlikely. No one waited until you were asleep, things just got rolling at that point. Sure it might be a result of you not being around to contest it, but that was likely not intentional. Unless of course all the other players are communicating and it's really a everyone vs ampelas game. I understand you don't want to be lynched but that's perhaps a tad too dramatic don't you think?

The thing with Silanah is that most of us don't know whether she (he? it?) is our captain or not. I believe you when you claim to be a life. You may be on my team, you may not, but at least I'm pretty sure your not one of the important roles. Silanah on the other hand; how would I know?

yes it is clutching at straw that sentence, i just threw it out there. Rather than vote me you could have changed, i liked your post and reasoning when you came on before but then you thought about cashing in on some credits, if all the other people vote silanah and not me then they do not have to bet any credits but those of you who have voted silly amounts will be in a worse position than the ones that vote silanah.

Tactically if silanah was their captain then their second would take over so not as bad as it seems, however if the captain is someone else's then it is even better for them.

As no one knows who is on their faction except the person above them then it is a shot in the dark for me and silanah isn't it. I think Barghast is underneath silanah maybe.

anyway from a faction point of view and a game point of view those that are yet to vote would be at a better advantage by voting silanah as all their competitors would lose credits, and were credits are life it will open up the game in a much bigger way. As i am a life i could be killed/bet in the card game so my life is less important.

if you thought before you voted i think you may of voted for silanah

a) Possibly, but legendary status of one game doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be done. If we accept your arguments you could be a life certainly, alas, put the world is a stage and we are but it's players.

 Nope we don't. But then, I could say I was actually a smoking monkey writing this text, and it could indeed be true, but my own word probably wouldn't be trusted by all. And again you could be whispering sweet nothings in my ear as you slide the knife in, and move on to another persona/your captain's bet saves your life. One faction being all in does not denote their hand strength when forced all in, only the measure of their situation. K's ain't out of this yet.

c) You thought there was honour in Mafia?! Still I like you rabble-rousing injured pride line, that should work well for you.

sorrit you have nothing to lose because your life could bet as well as mine, i think you are a life and as such you have nothing to lose either. vote for silanah, give me a chance

That's a bold assertion. You're telling me it's not a big deal if Silanah dies and she turns out to be my captain because the second will step in to take her place? Are you high?

@ Amp If I was a life, I could have everything to lose. Everyone is open to being Lynched, high or low in whatever chain or game they're playing.

@Liosan, depends, if you thought your captain was doing rubbish, then it might be a better thing for them to be lynched.

no i'm saying that not all will be lost, but i am thinking the majority of the leftover players will be in a better position than you, omtose, barghast etc because they wouldn't have bet silly amounts on a vote. the chances of silanah being your captain are slim at best but the chances of her being a captain, second or fm is a lot better than me so logic should dictate that she should be lynched

edit to make sense

sorrit we are betting material for our captains. silanah and co did a good job of putting me at L1, the latter people on the train thought they'd cash in.

By all means you could cash in on lynching me, but as a life those credits could go to the other team if your captain loses the card game.

however by lynching silanah all those players that have bet credits will lose them and therefore you as a player would be in a better position than a lot of them,

That scattergun logic is like the kind that leads to humanity being wiped out.

I disagree. I guess you might think that your second would play a better poker game, but how would you know? Risking your highest ranked player, the only one immune to poison, because you may disagree on his style of playing is rather silly in my humble opinion.

Does the second not gain an immunity of poison if they become captain?

So no one gains new abilities as they move up the food chain?

Well that sucks for the lifers then.

Aye, but it's also fairly standard practice. Thus the importance of protecting the officers.
