I can't decide whether this is ill-conceived or not, but the sequel to The Hangover (one of the funniest flicks I have EVER seen)...

Synopsis:

In "The Hangover Part II," Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu's wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don't always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can't even be imagined."

Check out the trailer at Apple: http://trailers.appl...ehangoverpart2/

The trailer shows next to nothing, but I think that may be a blessing in disguise as they may just want to save the comedy for the screen and I TOTALLY applaud that as I really hate it when funny movies show too much in trailers.....however, it could also be a "nothing showing" trailer cause the movie is bad. Who knows, but I'll still totally be there to see this.

Tbh I'm unconvinced, just seems like a cash-in. I reckon Cedar Rapids is a better bet for Hangover style humour than the actual sequel.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

I adore the first movie, so am rather dubious about them trying to recreate the humour in a sequel. Odds on to fail, unfortunately.
Seriously, do I look like I give a shit?

The trailer I saw looked like nothing but repeating every joke from the first one. it saddened me a little. I loved the first one and wanted the second to be as good. I don't think it's going to go down like that though.

While not all sequels are worse than the original (Empire Strikes Back is the best of the SW movies) ... yeah I doubt this will be as good. I'm still going to see it. My one complaint would be why did he break up with the stripper?

The new full trailer looks better than the earlier ones... but hopefully it does have some new stuff, rather than just rehashing the first film.

I think the plan from the get-go was to take the idea behind the first one (ie. waking up after a night of partying you don't remember) and amplify it to proportions of glorious fucking insanity...in Bangkok where you can do shit that is illegal everywhere else.

For that alone I am in.

Yeah, Ken Jeong is made of win in every movie he is in...that he becomes part of the wolfpack is fucking awesome.

Also, is it wrong that I think it's fucking hilarious that it looks like they don't even know what city they are in when they wake up?
