Hi there. I've been lurking around here for a while and it seems that i have decided to order 3 copies of TCG from amazon.asdf.asdf (free shipping when the price is high enough, and its quite important when i'm trying to send them to Poland).
So, anyway - whats the difference between Tor and Bantam press HARDCOVER releases? Ive never had anything to do with any of those, and if you could just give me some pros and cons / main differences between those two.(apart from price, cause thats obvious).
And yes, i cannot wait any longer, and waiting for main Polish sources to wake up and do something about TCG isn't very effective. Not to mention, that Polish translation will be ready in a year or so...meh.
Any help here?

Tor vs Bantam!

If I'm not mistaken there's no real difference. The only one I could think of would be the cover artwork, of which Bantam's might be different. But of the good old juicy stuff, ie. the prose, if it's not exactly the same between the books I imagine it will split the forums asunder in fire and death over which is the true, orginal, text, and which is the false text. Abyss versus Apt, Illy versus Chicken, Hetan versus Mal, Macros versus Cougar, Mezla versus Alcohol.... the strife should there be a difference would be catastrophic.
Para todos todo, para nosotros nada.

hmmm, interesting thought.... if there is a difference it could be the whole source of soem of the debates on teh site as it is... liek the Rake vs Traveller arguments... perhaps its down to minute differences............ but really its not...........
