i thought i read krul was in some realm created by mael where all forgotten gods exist and he came back to the known realm after some blood was spilled in his temple in daru ?

i read this in 2 different places !!! i dont remember where :Erm:

K'rul returned from the Warren of Chaos according to GotM.
It was the blood spilled in K'rul's belfry that recalled him.

It could well be that Baruk is on the path to ascendancy... he certainly is a powerful mage and a damn good alchemist (re Duiker).

Concerning Apsalar I do believe she is on the way to become an ascendant. The Rope left quite some marks with his possession, pushing her towards it methinks.
