Jackuruku novel?

I know there's an Assail novel to follow after OST, but is there a novel centering on Jackuruku in between the two? I ask because I swear I read somewhere that there was...but can't find it now. If there is, then maybe we'll have a few lingering questions left over from SW answered in that.
Also, should this part of the forum now be renamed Orb, Sceptre, Throne?

I don't think anyone wants to accept that as a working title
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

I think Apt does, but then, it's Apt. Most of his opinions on taste are just plain wrong.
As for a Jacurucku novel, it's the first I'm hearing of it. Would be great, I'm itching to know more about Ardata and her realm. ICE was signed on for six books I think. So NoK, ROTCG, SW, OST, the Assail novel and one more.

I remember reading about a Jackuruku novel after the Darujhistan one and before Assail. Given that ICE is signed for 6 novels, it makes sense to me that this would be one of them. The reason it doesn't get mentioned so much is because everyone has been dying to know what the hell is up with Assail ever since MoI, so it more or less steals the spotlight.
uhm, that should be 'stuff.' My stiff is never nihilistic.

Yeah i'm positive I've also heard about there being a Jacuruku book before the Assail one. Dunno how reliable the sources were though, but I hope it was true.

hrrrm
this is WAY way back in the day, but....
I recall in one of the interviews with ICE, he mentioned that his last book will complement tCG, to give us the full closure on the story (or as close as we can get with Malaz). it would make sense that that would be in Jacuruku, since that's where it got started (with Kallor and all that)

i know this is off topic but what ever happened to the Seguleh? who thinks either ICE or SE should make a book continueing their story, or their past of whatever?

Most likely we will get more information about the origin of the Seguleh in the Darujistan Novel, since their past is connected with the city and the tyrant.

Yep, it was even confirmed in the Q&A on Tor a few months ago. The site is down so I can't quote exactly, but there's Jackuruku and then Assail.

There are a number of titles around:
Orb, Sceptre, Throne
Throne and Orb
Throne, Sceptre and Crown
The publisher seems to have scheduled the book for the end of this year anyway.

In this interview with ICE, he talks about the Jacuruku novel:

Apparently, the working title is "City in the Jungle". Ugh.
And the Assail novel will be called, "Assail". Don't try too hard, ICE.

Oh man, the Jacuruku novel needs to be some son of Kallor making some horrible Empire and the book ending with Kallor marching into the palace and chopping the head of the kid and then walking out again.
