A Most Important Appeal to Esslemont We need more Ipshank and Manask!

Erikson does his Bauchelain and Korbald Broach novellas and they seem to be a hit since the die hard Malazan fanboys must own everything Malazan.
Now would be the time for Esslemont (are you reading these boards?!) to create his own novellas and what better subject matter than the adventures of Ipshank and Manask?
Ipshank tries to save the world while Manask tries to steal anything that isn't bolted down in the process. Imagine the two if they had come to Lether. Or the Seguleh Isle. Or hell, Kurald Thyrlan!
I would pay good money for this. In fact I would pre-order such a book and any promised sequels right away if it meant they could go into production.

For something like that, based on them two, I would pay up front for all the planned books..! Simple!

Holy crap... this could top Manask/Ipshank novellas...
Quote
You know, Steve and I have talked over presenting those stories from the beginning of the Empire: K & D’s first meeting and such. We agreed that I might tackle them as novellas just like his Bauchelain and Korbel Broach pieces. They’d be non-sequential moments from the histories showing various encounters and pivotal moments. All will have to wait however, until I finish the last two of my first six for Bantam.

I don't think I would enjoy a series of books ruining the mystique surrounding the Emperor and Dancers past.

i loved the ipshank and manask characters, they were brilliently wrote
but....a whole book with manask as a main character would ruin it, i fear you would get bored of manask eventualy
