Kanubis recieved an extra copy of Stonewielder from Amazon by mistake.

He just dropped by my apartment for a beer and left a fresh, new hardcopy version of Stonewielder.

Now to try and not begin reading it before the weekend.

Thank you, Kanubis.

KANUBIS FOR PRESIDENT

FREE BOOKS FOR EVERYBODY
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Idk, that just stinks of desperation.
So, you're the historian who survived the Chain of Dogs.
Actually, I didn't.

It seems you stand alone.
It was ever thus.

I've heard that he's positively anal about it.

Abyss, I still haven't received my sainthood. Am I supposed to die first? I can wait a bit if so.

Anyway, was great to meet Apt and have a civilized discussion about such pressing issues as politics, education, Mythbusters, Minecraft and international porn legislation.
Edit: Pretty sure Apt doesn't own a goat, let alone a selection of goats from which to loan me one. I'll confess that I have little use for goat, and in all honesty my cat would not take kindly to having a goat around the apartment.

If you hadn't made this thread I'd have been totally unaware of your name change and would probably have started a 'what happened to Apt?' thread a couple of weeks down the line.

Still though, I trudge through the snow and cold to deliver literary treasure and you hold out on the goat?  :p

It's funny what a random game of "let's google my name" can reveal:

Nearly a year later, and mystery solved. I completely forgot to check the results for this: http://fantasyhotlis...st-winners.html

*insert embarrassed smiley here*

Incidentally, one of them arrived while I was away. That it was from Amazon was just an assumption on my part.
