We have 3 liter bottles as well. 2 liters arent that big, as we get individual one liters that most people drink in a single sitting. Very thought provoking.
Honestly I expected you to just have crates with 250 litres connected to your kitchens like they do at fast food places.
I've never quite gotten used to the 2 liter variant. I don't think 2 liter bottles became normal in Denmark before around 97-98 maybe. Before then the biggest soda you could get was a one litter glass bottle. Otherwise you needed to go to Germany or Polen. Thinking about I believe it may have been some kind of Danish ban on that kind of stuff, because you couldn't get big bags of candy or large bars of chocolate in Denmark either back then. Probably some tax on sugar or something.
