I get that, but I seriously doubt there is only one kill power per night that's going to come into play. We'll have to see tomorrow, but for the moment, your logic is sound...I just don't trust to the precedent of one kill with so many elimination goals.

Me neither, but better safe than sorry.

yeah but it could also go the other way, and/or there could be 1 of each again, or 2 NK's. you don't know ruse is on your team do you. also if you don't and it goes to night you could still be outnumbered if there is only one NK. a lynch would give us information and you would know a lot more information

it'd be good to hear from Silchas to see what his thoughts are. also Merrid, Tiam, Kess could say something, we have under an hour to go is that right? does anyone know time?

Am I sure about the time? Pretty much. Times out at 12:40 exactly where I am.
Well I've already stated my ideas on a Rashan-Mockra-Serc connection so lynching either of you in order to disprove what I already believe to be untrue seems a bit of a dead-end, to be honest. That said, I don't like how you've played this game so far. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt for now, but I don't trust you any farther than I could throw my car. Not sure what to make of Ruse. I've got no idea what faction he's on, so I suppose I could take the gamble if it came to voting for the lynch.

Merrid, this would be your first vote wouldn't it? you weren't on any of the previous trains, its like you don't want to lynch or cause any trouble, if this is the case its like you have good NA's so the day doesn't bother you too much? i'll have a look through your posts now, see who you like / dislike but i don't remember any of them that stand out.

Concerning the defection mechanic. Maybe everyone in this game is considered an officer and I'm just reading too much into it, but if you'll note D'rek says that officers may defect. Serc had officer in his title, Liosan didn't, which could further the theory about him being able to defect. Then again, everyone who isn't a leader could be considered an officer.
Now, my question is, if we go with Emurlahn's theory about who knows who and how defection works, then how do fake defections work?
If Officers are the only ones who can defect, it seems they'll be the bottom of the food/command chain. If they are higher up, they are likely to be powerplayers. Sure, they may still cause collateral, but two heavy hitters choosing to switch to the same faction would unbalance the game (and probably lynch dominance) immensely. Two near RIs is a different matter... maybe the only 'role ability' officers have, is being able to defect?
Anyway, that would put Serc as a peon, not as the recruiter as some seem to think.
Fake defections... maybe just that when you switch faction, you get a new contact in your chosen faction, but your victory conditions remain the same? It would be like a one-time find, basically.
Anyway, to continue my triangle hard-on for Serc and Rashan being connected with Mockra... this chain theory makes it slightly more viable again.
Vote Rashan
for potentially being higher in the command chain than Serc.
well how about voting for Mockra to see if he is connected to Serc? The thing is, Serc was team YS and that aint my team, if you are not on team YS then you should not vote for me, simples, I already made the mistake of letting you know this early in the game, i just haven't rubbed it in your face. if we get rid of mockra then we will know if serc was related to him. i'm certainly not a leader, and if mockra or ruse turn out to be good then i'd be happy to vote myself tomorrow.
I had not seen this earlier.
Seriously son, that is not how we roll.
Mafia is more lies than truth and you cannot trust anything anyone says at face value, and that goes double in faction games. Everyone is guilty until proven otherwise through CF, reveal, or until guilt is established by two things that massively contradict one another.

If you'd played with me before you'd know I'm not exactly the most prolific voter (last game anyone? lol). Besides, I'm fairly sure I wasn't around for either of those trains, so couldn't really have voted on them, could I? I also like to consider my options, I'm not exactly sure at the moment who I would prefer to lynch, thus I have not voted.

I have made a comment that Merrid is playing intelligently, and I see no reason to change that opinion.
The reason why I did quote that post and underlined that bit is not to distract to you, but because it is tingling my Vote Rashan senses in ways they haven't yet been tingled and that I want to point out to the rest of the players. Seriously, that is one bad post.

@ korabas - well some people ahve me on there radar, that's fine. the thing is Korabas you got a stiffy for me and Tiam. I haven't got one for you, you're playing intelligently. everything you do or say deflects eyes from you and puts them somewhere else. i just tell it how i see it.
@merrid - i think he is defending you and ruse for some reason, looking back at your posts which there are many you do not seem to be controversial in anyway. you agree with certain posts, you have a few posts that say wow lots to read back later yet when you return you do not bring a case up, you have a lot of posts discussing team numbers or characters which is fine, not saying anything wrong with that, but there isn't anything that makes you look like an enemy from anyone's point of view. there is nothing that is strong and opinionated. maybe we are too early in to the game but out of many of the players playing, you aree the one that could be on any team, everyone's friend, which makes you look like a OM in my eyes. I know your not mine but you could be an ally on another team

One last reaction: I only have one vote. I use it as I see fit. If you don't like that, too bad.
There's plenty of comments I made regarding other people, but the fact remains: you say you have nothing to hide and are good. No proof. So why say it?
Tiamatha has contributed zilch and zero that can actually stand up to scrutiny to the game and has shut himself off of the rest of the thread. The only way to get interactivity from the man is by attacking/provoking him. So I do that.
Finally, there is a suspect list I posted and amended yesterday.

I don't see how he's defending me, since all he's done in my direction is say I've been playing intelligently. As for nothing strong and opinionated, well, I'd disagree. I just haven't attacked anyone because personally I'm still trying to figure out who might be on my team. Like I said, I'm not quick on my trigger finger, and is not the point of a faction game to obscure your allegiance while trying to figure out everyone else's?
