You know, this picture leads me to a question. How big are the "Big Boss" dragons actually in the Malazan Universe?
The one in this picture is gigantic, like the size of an Aircraft Carrier or something. I remember talk about Olar Ethil being mentioned as Twin to Tiam in her shape and size, and she dwarfed the Silanda I think. How big was the Silanda?
How big was Rake for example? or Korlat? Ruin didn't sound that big in RG.

But definitely NOT a horn, but the tail of the dragon - if we had this in 3-D or physically in our hands, it would be way clearer. The tail kinda fades into the fire mushroom; you have to squint your eyes out on that one.

Ahhh ok I was looking at it like a side profile but really its facing right at the viewer and its tail only looks like its coming out its ear.
btw, I am absolutely picturing Yedan looking up at that thing and saying "you're one...ugly...motherfucker", so that better be in the book if this scene is as faithful as mal says.

The Watch staring down a lot of fire with a dragon? I'd hazard Osserc, but that's probably miles off. I don't really believe that myself. But I'm out of ideas.

According to GotM, Silanah is twice the size of the Tiste Andii Soletaken, and Rake in turn "dwarfs" Silanah. So I'm guessing they can get preeeetty large.

The Silanda had a cabin, two decks and a couple dozen zombie rowers. I think it's fair to say 30 to 40 feet long. If Olar Ethil dwarfs that, she could be something like 100 to 150 feet.
Orfantal was large enough to grab Kallor in a claw, but small enough for Kallor to stick him in the neck, so I figure maybe Silanda size works for him and Korlat.
