well, now Bent feels like a total idiot.
at least it explains why he did that.
although since he was planning to headshot ANOTHER marine with 2 BPs, thank God I only made it a one-time power......

Having a faction with a possibility of winning by being lynched was brilliant. Especially if said faction has low numbers and is not very many if any power roles. So how's it going? I feel like we would have been notified if our BP was used up, so we seem to be in good shape.
I want to kill someone soon, maybe not today, but soon. Reasons: it is fun, if we have another teammate chances of hitting him are very slim, and because if we die kills are not transferable. Probably better during the day too, since there are more NK bps floating around than day kills (unless it will work for either).
I see you raising suspicion about me following Barghast, that's good. If we can manage to lynch me, fantastic. I was agreeing with a lot of things Barghast said yesterday, and dropping his name frequently too. Maybe you can use this to your advantage? Play it like I am unsure of what to do, so talk at the only person I know is on my team? Could work.

Meanas is a goddamned idiot if he isn't Eldar.
That whole "can't wait to see what Night brings" just screams idiot-noob-Finder to me. You never, ever fucking vote for Night because you're a Roled Inno. Especially not with so much time left. If he and Korv are paired Finders, than they aren't just twice as stupid for voting Night, they're like twenty times as stupid, an order of magnitude of stupid greater than the sum of their stupid parts.
Or Meanas is an Eldar trying to set up Korv, or they're both Eldar trying to set each other up ... in which case I'm not voting to lynch either of the idiots. I'm also not going to Heal Meanas on the off-chance he's a particularly stupid Inno Finder. Or maybe I'm overthinking this, and they're both just run-of-the-mill idiots.
Now, if I can only figure out how to attack Barghast and Rashan without also implicating Kalse, who made the mistake (to my mind) of agreeing that Necros are sort of allied with Town. Because I really wanted to go after Barghast and Rashan on that one, plus Barghast's first-Day defeatism. He was subtle, but I think he's really scum playing some very early psychological warfare.
Oh, and now Meanas just came back to continue to lightly hint that he's a Finder. Stupid.

Hrm... this faction has got to be tiny. Alkend and Sukul looked like the two most likely to be on GL's team coming into today.
Sukul's still a possibility but Alkend's out based upon a stated desire to support a GL lynch.
Time to make a chart with some guesses and known info.
Anyone that's stated some support for lynching GL is unlikely to be Tyranid. Eldar faction I have guessed, more or less. Human faction is hard to see, all I have is the one comment from D'riss. I feel really uneasy about Eloth, Karatallid, and Tellan. All have shown an ability to show up, make comments, and then disappear without getting attention. I'm marking them as possible Xeno. I also have moved Lio to probable human, his overreacting was actually a good human tactic in hindsight.
Alkend - Tyranid?
Ampelas - Eldar? (not Tyranid)
Barghast - Tyranid (formerly Human)
D'riss - Eldar/Human?
Eloth - Unknown Xeno?
Galayn Lord - Tyranid
Korvalain - Eldar? (not Tyranid)
Kalse - (not Tyranid)

Liosan - Human?
Meanas - Eldar? (not Tyranid)
Osseric - Unknown Xeno? (not Tyranid)

Confirmed - GL, Barghast

Possible - D'riss, Eloth, Rashan, Tellan
Unlikely - Liosan
When you consider a cult faction is probably only going to start with 1 or 2 people (2 if you want to give the faction a reasonable chance against an unlucky first day), then only one of the 7 "bottom" people can be it...
Hrm hrm hrm... how can I get some traction on another case without looking like I'm trying to spare GL?
I have an idea, but it will probably reek of desperation... need to research it. Essentially, say that I had the ability to reverse the effects of the Genesplicer Cult, but something happened to me last night when I used the ability on << Insert Fall Guy Here >> and I became poisoned. I will die Night 2 (one full night after the poison set in) and wanted to get my information out there.
I need to find out WH ability that someone like a Cultist or Necron might have... Gene Rot or something like that, y'know.

none of these people have done their homework
it's very much like me to have a cult start with one person, with BPs to ensure against Day 1 mishaps.
anyhow, more PB
I followed the thread on my phone today, looks like it's simmering nicely.
it also seems the only scum to be found are the Eldar--the one group the finders are totally unlikely to out, haha.
let's see what else they've been up to...

I'm thinking Bargy is Grief, Korv is HMQB and Meanas is Gothos. People aren't trying all that hard to hide, since it helps them defend against us. I'm almost tempted to suggest anti-FM countermeasures like hashing a phrase and saying you will provide the key if someone suspects you're FM'd. That would only work if the mods stepped in and told me to stop, since it is completely against the spirit of the game. It would spark a bit of discussion and very likely clear me in a lot of people's minds, but trying to manipulate the mods for your advantage is not really a good idea. Fun idea though.

I think the saddest thing here is that the two people who were pretty keen on the GL lynch yesterday both got recruited, and now try to secure their new masterm but turning on the one they presume to be the biggest threat to his master.
so, essentially, 2 out of some of our best players are on the same team, but playing against each other.

I fucking hate Jesters, and this is the first time I've played in a game with one. Or, more likely, four to five, so that the 50% +1 math makes sense.
Most likely Eldar: Korv, Olar Ethil, Meanas, Galayn Lord, and possibly Liosan.
Most likely Necrons: Barghast and Rashan, and unfortunately Barghast is playing like an honest Inno, and aligning himself a bit with me, so it's going to be harder to attack him.
Others: Very few people stick out. Osseric might be a Tyranid or Necron, if he's town he's an idiot for trying to pin the Vig on someone. If Meanas is a Finder (as he hinted yet again), he's playing very fucking stupid. Did I mention his stupid play yet? Nobody else is really posting enough to get a read. No idea why D'riss voted for someone after calling him a Jester - that's stupid. Holy shit, my team might be comprised entirely of idiots.
But Kalse still hasn't stuck his neck out, so I may be able to go another Night covering my own ass.
In case there's a speed lynch, my provisional NA is: Heal Alkend.

Kalse's silence actually has me sort of worried - does he know that Barghast isn't a Necron? I sure as hell wish he'd give me a clue, because the more I read Barghast's posts, the more I've got myself convinced. He sure tried to fall in line with agreeing with me towards the end of Day One and the beginning of Day Two, which was a suspicious enough sort of buddying-up, but why the hell would he claim to have survived two Night Actions? Even if that were true, what Inno would actually put that out in public?
It sounds like either a scum bluff, or stupid Inno play. I'll pick bluff, until I know otherwise. Because I hope Kalse knows who his superiors are, and the only way Barghast could be telling the truth is if he's higher up the chain than Kalse.
I'm going to try to draw Barghast out more until I get a solid reason to vote. Nothing else stands out at the moment, besides Osseric having a good point that such an early Day One vig was likely not Inno. If it was, it was stupid, and I'll just have more evidence my team is comprised of morons.
Also, I think most of the scum is laying low. And how the hell did I end up a high poster? That never happens.

So I think I've got the edge on Barghast, which is kind of disappointing, as I'm only about 50% certain he's scum. If he turns out to be a high ranking Inno - guess what? He's an idiot for the "I survived two Night Actions" reveal. Which I don't believe anyways, because if it's true, he's playing stupid. Have I mentioned yet that my team is potentially full of idiots? Or at the very least a bunch of people who need to speak the fuck up. Oh, and the only other guy to vote with me - or before me - is that idiot Meanas. I hope he's not a complete noob, or I'm going to feel very slightly guilty about trashing him in SH. For a second or two, anyways.
And the worst part is, there's no one else around to impart momentum. And we need a lynch, bad.
I still like my idea for Jester strategy - I'm totally going "useless low poster" if I ever get picked Jester. Everyone wants to lynch them by about Day 3 or 4, just for info and to move on to Night.

Leave it to PB to hatch awesome plans - few think as far ahead and as clearly as he does. The problem is, few think about stuff as much as he does, or contingencies come into play, so he seldom gets it entirely together - see Spycraft 2.0, where he outwitted himself continuously.
