the hounds of shadow certainly seam the most powerfull, the HoD were pretty piss poor in my opinon considering how much was said about them.

does anyone know why, when ganoes unleashed them and then got shadow throne to send his HoS after (the things with seven souls, cant remember its name) in 7c's. y not just get the HoS to kill it and leave the deagaroth where they where

he only realized that the deragoth wouldn't chase anything unless it was their shadows when he was already in the jaghut warren of death. he thought he could just send the deragoth after dejim nebrahl, then realized, when he saw what became of the two hounds of shadow he released from dragnipur that he needed the HoS as bait.

i understood that, but why not ust get teh hoods of shadow to kill of dejim nebrahl?

surly the threat of releasing the degeroth would of been enough to get ST to use the HoS against dejim? especialy as the HoD would automaticly go after the HoS

Because everyone overestimated Dejim(himself included). He was this big terror of eons past and no one would have thought he would have fared so bad in modern times
