the eresal last appeared in the bh, when she passed through icarium, and maintaned his sanity and memory in order to calm his rage.
i assumed that her job was done, and she "moved on".
but bottle in DoD last had a dream about her one month ago.
a dream that brought him back to the days of the savanah.
doesn't that mean that the eresal was active still somehow ?
and why would his dreams end ?
the only other two (possible) connections to the theme of his dreams are the wolf gods and the living imass.
is it a co'incidence that one month (more or less) moves from rud elale and silchas break out of the lake, in the middle of letheras ?

Don't underestimate the time-travelling cavewoman.

mabye he hadnt dreamt of her in a month because there wasnt much happening that she would get involved in

if u were a "time-travelling cavewoman" wouldnt u only exsist in times which u were either interested in, or needed?
she would make her mark on bottle through his dreams pretty consistently at first, but once that connections made why not zip forward through time till an event thats more interesting than lazying around letheras?

I always assumed that the reason for his visitations dropping away, was that they were moving into the wastelands. I think its mentioned in a few places that its next to impossible to "see" into this region, so thought that had something to do with it.

Just because you're travelling through time doesn't necessarily mean you're in direct control over said travel.

in quantum leap he can only move between the timeline of his life, he cannot move beyond this. if he was born in 1960 for example, he couldn't go back to 1940. does anyone actually know the age of the eres'al or how long they live for? are the eres'al the nameless ones? why is sister spite a nameless one?

back on topic, i think she would have to have some control over time travel. I think they are important because they want their world to survive. If they do live 100's and thousands of years then maybe the QL theory could work, or the timetraveller's wife way could also be a way. Time travel is so complex as the smallest of changes can have huge impact. It blows my mind to think about it, but time travel as a theme is not a strong concept in SE''s work. People reading the future wouldn't be as cool then?

I feel like I am just rambling, Bottle is alive imo, and the eres'al may still be with him and have a task for him that is along a different track than what Tavore is planning. therefore the betrayal?

maybe i have had too much tea, sweets, juice and coffee this morning.
