in gotm he used tellan to release raest.
in MoI (or was it bonehunter ?) his sister, who was a bonecaster said she ran from him, because he was
too powerfull for her.
so, was he a mage of sorts ?
can tellan still be used by him, or is it sealed to the remaining imass ?
and regardless, shouldn't he be able to use telas or other warrens ?

he is the first sword, it grants some powers, also it would not be a big strech that most t'lan Imass can use tellan to an exstent, (ie not batte, but maybe some cantrips)
i want to see this world where T'lan imass kneels

The GotM Tool was a hell of a lot more powerful than the T'lan Imass seem to be later on in the books. He had a magic killing warren that stretched across half a continent.
Maybe being a First Sword grants special abilities or maybe it's best to just not think too much about it.

Maybe it's not a spell, but a spell-like ability, or innate ability, that T'lan Imass get at 1st level.

In MoI Tool specifically says that they use no warren when they turn to dust but just revert to the state they would have been if the Ritual had never taken place.
