This is a duel tattoo for me. I was very excited to get this new one. There are two things that I love more than anything: A band called Blueneck and the Malazan novels. This tattoo is in honor of both. It's the record cover for a Blueneck record called "The Fallen Host". It's also a Chain of Dogs tattoo in honor of Coltaine and those that fell on the long trek to Aren.
Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
Also: Check out Blueneck if you are into anything resembling post-rock. They are amazing.

This showed up on my Google Reader and could have nothing to do with MBotF, but I thought it was cool anyway:

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Whoa, that's a cool tat, even if it's got nothing to do with Malazan.

I can't tell if you mean "it is not inspired by the series" or "it has no meaning in connection with the series".
Symbolically it easily draws your thoughts to the Wickan clans and their crow feathers and the spirits being borne away by the birds as their bodies die. Symbolised by the feather withering and turning into crows.

The former. I did post it in this thread, after all.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I have that T shirt also. I like it enough that it's one of my favorite casual shirts, but not so much that I would have it inked on me.
