Yeah DiBs, I heard that as well. Which is part of the reason that I told my friend he was crazy.

But still, that seed has been planted. While I think it is Earth I doubt we will know for certain, at least until it comes up in the show. Which I bet it will.

This is speculation, not spoilers, so I don't think we need to spoiler-text it.

But one theory is:

Well, it happens tomorrow, so I'm betting there will be a lot to talk about here.

My only problem is that the cable in my room doesn't come in well for the sci-fi channel. I will have to either watch it tomorrow and have it look terrible or wait another day or so until I can get to a DVR. I am leanly towards crap because I want to see it, but still.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

BOOOOOOO?????

I liked it, except the part where the recording stoped 4 minutes early, so I had to stay up until now to catch the second showing.

Well, I was not surprised at the final cylon as I saw an interview with Tricia Hefler on the Space Channel (in all fairness she probably didn't even realize what she said would make sense to anyone let alone me) and something she said let me to realize who it was. On the other hand I was really tired while watching the webisodes so didn't get the full benefit of what was going on. Will have to watch again when fully awake.

I still think it's a misdirection.

Or, at least, that's how I would write it - with Tigh's vision just being a superimposed delusion (an event that really happened in his Cylon past, but the person's face that he saw was of his own devising). I still hold out hope that the creators are this devious ... but not much hope.
I finally have an avatar ... and it's better than yours.

Really? There were very, very few logical choices for who the Fifth was, and once certain other elements were revealed (in this episode), the number of people it could be fell to about three choices, and this is the one that made by far the most sense out of them.

I get the impression some people (not you Briar King, but certainly some on the Sci-Fi Channel website) are really annoyed about the significance of the revelation rather than the revelation itself:

So I'm still a bit confused. But I'm hopeful that there is a definite plan.

Now the one question i have is about Starbuck.

@ Wert - Cheers for that. I kinda knew that in my head, but like you said the editing was poor and it definitely seemed to be implying the other thing.
You'd think after years of "the timeline is not important" here on this site, I'd be hesitant with any theories involving timeline discrepancies.

The one thing that has me worried though, is that I read an interview with Ron Moore, and it seems they (the writers/producers) didn't even know the identity of the final cylon themselves until after the end of season3. For me that doesn't bode well for a satisfying conclusion to a show i really like. I only pray that they do figure out an internally consistent way to conclude what's been a really good show. So 9 episodes to send it off in style. Fingers crossed.
