Okay I want to know who the characters are in each of these houses and how do the Gods fit in. I have an example, in Shadow.. The king is ST, no queen, assassin is COT, Magi is Iskaral?? and hounds. Now looking at what I interpret as house of chains.. The king in chains, skinner? the consort.. poliel? Thisd is where I need help, please answer with all houses. also explain why the crippled god is not the king in his own houe

The CG =/= King: I think was his own choice.
He cast his House out in the world to be filled by those of ambition, but didn't want to play by the rules for those who are a part of the pantheon, or have to fight for its maintenance. It is one of the reasons the Throne appeals to Kallor: he reasons the House will stand even after The Crippled God is gone, and plans to usurp the House and thus the associated power.
The other cards: the ones holding the cards vary with time, I guess there is even a possibility that with Anomander dead there will be a new Knight of High House Dark - if a certain individual makes a deal that benefits a House, or serves it perhaps unwillingly (Whiskeyjack as Mason of Death at one point springs to mind), they occupy the card for a certain time.
Everyone is entitled to his own wrong opinion. - Lizrad

So the crippled god has less control over his own house? If Kallor could usurp him? Or does the crippled god think that he is stronger than Kallor? secondly, isn't skinner supposed to be king in chains?
on what you said about the other cards, does this have an effect on ST/Cot at all?

Pretty accurate, I would say, this encyclopedia is maintained by D'rek and Co. after all.

Ah and spoiler warnings are not necessary in here (Expect spoilers for all published books.), but I added them anyway.
Just keep the titles clean and you should be fine.
