Will every ICE cover have a ship on it?

My first thought exactly, he seems to like his ships.

There's nothing wrong with a good ship ride from time to time. Maybe the artist grew up in a port city, and never made it out.

Is that the Stormwall ?

And could the ship be.... Malazan ?

Would they actually attack the Wall? An epic ships vs. Wall battle would be nice though...

That is an interesting question.

When I think of the wall I think of something huge and imposing, like GRRMs wall in the North.

But the image on the cover does work better with the idea of there being these niches where fighters are lowered on to.

I predict a ship coming in to dock off Lake Azul at night time, with the city bathed in blue fire (which actually would look pretty cool).

That would be an awesome cover, I agree.

Wait a second, Lake Azur does not seem to be connected to the sea at all, or am I just blind? How did Spite... ah never mind, there could be canals.

It is not connected to the sea, however a few other cities are on it's western shoreline - Gredfallan (where the ale comes from) and Dhavran (where Circle Breaker retires to).

As for Spite, I'm fairly sure they arrive on a different ship...

Hmm... Circle Breaker... The symbol of the Crippled God is a broken circle... Coincidence?

The cadre that brought down the CG was called the circle. And the Crippled god broke them when he fell.

Ergo, Circle Breaker is the Crippled God.

Damn I'm good.
