it depends, the work on this part of the boards does seem to be at the moment trying to set up a complete and complex set of rules for an entire world. ITIMW was more of a story, wherein each person wrote their characters bit. it was relatively easy going and just a bit of fun. if you still want to know more then read the beginning ish of this thread. the original (ie book 1) used to be on here but was deleted Posted Image

and that was a far better example imho as it had the beginning middle and end. the way that it developed was quite interesting to watch.(and take part in) . dont know if anyone has a copy of it, lady a might.

anyways, lets see if we have enough people and then just give it a go.

Yeah, totally agree with you karsa on the story point.

As for another version.. doesnt really bother me although if exactly the same chars were used i cant really see enough consistency in how each char is portrayed for me to want to read it. not that i'm against the idea, just would be too confusing and conflicting with the characters i've formed in my head to be enjoyable.

i'm back to uni in a couple of days, well at least moving into my new house Posted Image

and i dont know when the internet will be up and running. once i've settled into the course then hopefully i'll have enough time to write, Hood know's I've been having the urges to recently. And this would be a good way to get back into it. So basically i'm saying in a month or so (if enough of the original participants want to also take part as we need at least SOME of the original cast to keep the same story going) then i'd most likely be up for continuing this story. i've reread and remembered where i was hoping to take Tolkner so all is okay. Obviously i'm gonna be kinda screwed without Lady A though so i dont know if i'll be in if she isnt. or at least Teillos isnt.
