This is going to sound very elitist... but whatever, not everything in life is fair. And I'm talking with my own views and opinions, not the other participants'.
I see IYitMW as a story moreso than an rpg. As such, that's why the number of participants is somewhat lower than the other rpgs. We discuss how the story is going to proceed, etc. as opposed to random posts from everyone involved.
Basically what I'm saying is I don't like the idea of another version being made, but that's my opinion. Yeah yeah, elitist, but there you have it.

And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

I'd really like to see this revived
And with a reawakening of it, maybe some new players would be allowed in? If it's not too much to ask, I'd really like to join in with you...participate in the new story...

Hey Visenya
Cool, you wanna join? Well, you have my vote to be sure
And Chaos' as well, as it seems
So, I think you should check your PTs once in a while in the next few days
Cheers

OOC: Read my latest post in the P&P, you'll see why I've been busy lately.
Blah, I would promise a post, but you know me and my RPG promises... if one comes, it comes.

OOC: *crawls out of the putrid warren of AOL to finally land in the lost world of malazan*
must admit i was tempted when i heard this might be back on track but at the moment i dont have enough energy (bastard glandular fever) nor do i have a clue where we left off. and i've got a LOT of catching up to do...

I wouldn't mind, even if the plot has to be completely different (which I suspect it will.) It's not like I have more constructive things to do online.

Too bad...
Maybe a new and fresh IYitMW would be an idea? With all those who were interested in continuing this one?
What do you think...?

Yes, I do see it as storytelling too and that is exactly why I like it so much. I do not like those random-posting rpgs...I am looking for exactly what you did with this one or with the Andorel Phai story.
My english may not be as sophisticated as yours or that of another native english-speaker but I do hope that you will give me a chance to participate when you start the next story (or continueing this one)
Cheers

Shalk and the boy emerged from the portal, which quickly wove itself out of existance. Shalk sniffed the air.
'Delicious! Unravelling of wards. Not overly dramatic but will do.' He clapped his hands together delightedly, and wove his way between the sprawling corpses and remains, his ambling walk seemingly random but nevertheless bringing him closer to the source of the sorcery. The boy trailed after him, his pale face paling further as he looked around.
Just before he entered the small passageway, he turned, and rested a finger on his lips.
'Shush! Must not break her concentration! Not mine either. There must be silence.' Shalk whispered softly. The boy nodded, swallowing hard. Shalk wondered what could have made the boy look so sickly as he trotted though the passageway.
They emerged in the courtyard, and Shalk stopped the boy.
'Now... we enjoy the taste.' He murmured, and then grinned. 'My, is it sweet.'
