1) that cover is awesome. I really like the infrequent white covers that stand out from the dark ones.

2) i dunno what's up with the hat. he's never, ever worn one in any book i can think of, and i suspect the cover artist is just fixated on that 'look' or something. In the WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE GN the visual of the trenchcoat and staff work just fine without a cowboy hat.

that's a pretty fast turnaround for the cover. We usually don't see it til much later in the year iirc.

Yay!

At one point he says he is gonna were a hat, as a joke to himself i think.... but it was gonna be a 10 gallon hat... you know cowboy style...

Yes, if Dresden was a Wizard in the eighteen hundreds.

But he doesn't wear other kinds of head ware than caps with silly logos on them.

lol ive looked at the cover a few times and just now noticed it has his tombstone on it.... go me! but i agree with abyss on the point of the lighter covers inbetween the dark ones, nothing wrong with a change everynow and then!

Yes.... Mavra, I believe is her name.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
