I'm somewhat perturbed that Kimbo sounds like he is unfamiliar with many of the techniques that White is demosntrating, the dude has been living off fist fights for a decade. But then again maybe he's just playing dumb for the camera for the sake of Whites little presentation.

Anyway, it's a pretty cool discussion. Also, Michael Jay White is fucking awesome.

The human eye is very good at detecting movement from the sides, but not so good to detect movement comeing straight at you. This same principle is used for example in the military if you are gonna do recon. If you are gonna approach something you do it straight, if you move sideways its very easy to detect you...

I don't know about you guys but I can tell when a car stops ahead of me an doesn't have red lights in the bck, but this is pretty sweet. Also is it me or does Kimbo just keep saying right, right and is getting a little bored.

The jab is a tough motion to master and few actually do so. Kimbo's a famously slow learner in the grappling world and his stand-up's never advanced beyond telegraphed and slow hooks mixed in with a couple straights. I bet people have taught or showed Kimbo similar things before, but perhaps not in as charismatic a manner.

Jai White's jab does look like a good one. He's spent long hours in the boxing gym to get that.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
