*sigh* well, that's all she wrote. Definitely not worth staying up all night for. Had a good first 5 minutes but then went from World Cup qualifiers to a U5 team. Germany certainly gave us something (or rather things) to improve on.

@Pathos, a skittle bomb is red bull and cointreau or skittles dissolved in vodka. There was a convo in here not too long ago about them.

my bad...thanks man. were hand grenades discussed?

its where you balance a shot of tequilla and one of jagerneister over a tumbler of red bull... you pull the pin(shot of choice) drink it. as this happens the other one falls into the red bull and then you drink that..its fun...untill it kicks in later :p

aus didnt look too bad man... cahill's first chance goes in and the whole game would be different

Nah, we didn't discuss hand grenades, but those things are brutal. Better shot though is the ABC shot (a.k.a. the mindwipe) - absinthe, bacardi 151 and chartreuse. So good, yet gives you the worst hangover ever. I'm talking walrus-slaying hangovers.

As for Oz, we were good in the first 5-10 mins, but then our gameplay just shut down and Germany ran away with it. Only 3 shots in the second half says it all.

ja but the game was over after the red card man. and out cti's are different...absinth,tequilla and stroh rum(like 80%) its unpleasant and makes you wanna drink to forget you just had it...which does not help

Fuck, I'm tired. Absinthe, tequila and stroh rum? Sounds both delicious and horrible at the same time.

I'd like some whiskey. I've run out of beer, and all there is in the fridge at the moment is a bottle of cheap wine. And what's this I hear about TB organising a drinking night?

See to me a hand grenade is a jaegerbomb plus vodka, not tequilla. You gotta love cultural differences, eh?

well here you go... i'm having it with soda but many people would be upset with tha(whiskey like this is supposedto be neat or on the rocks)

we were just thinking of a "drinking games" night where people could pop in and play as was a good time for them(reduces the chance of people fighting and what not) (and easier for more people to join)
i really enjoyed the rubbish that was said at the second drinking comp but starting at 1 killed me so this would be way easier.

Whiskey and soda? Are ye mad?

Cool, I'd be up for that. I'd probably have to start drinking in the morning though like the last drinking comp....

@TT, I've had both varieties personally, to me it's the way it's drunk, but I prefer Jager and vodka to Jager and tequila.

I was thinking of getting together a skittle bomb night for all of us. Of course if skittle bombs aren't to people's liking they can have something else, but I'll be downing skittle bombs. Not really a drinking competition but we can either do shots at a set time, or have some pub games or whatever, or just have a get together and do shots. A little less rigid than the drinking contest allowing people to join or leave at any time, and not really competitive. It would have to be a few weeks from now, as I can't do it for the next little bit, but I think it's a cool idea.

I agree with you on the Socceroos, they came out looking sharp, but then it's like they just went to sleep out there. They were just letting Germany run all over them. Germany really is looking tight right now though, that was calm precise play out there and if they keep that up they are going to be dangerous. I just wish Cacau was still playing for Brazil, seeing him score that goal for the German side hurt. Beautiful goal though, as was the one a few minutes before. You could just tell Germany was going to score again, and Australia didn't seem to snap back or get more aggressive after that third goal, it was like they'd given up. Hopefully they'll get it together for their next game.

Right, remind me again what is easiest time wise for you. I mean as in our time of day. I don't mind if I have to start drinking in the afternoon, if it means we get more people in here.

Well, it's almost 8 a.m. now, which is I think 5 p.m. Central Time and 11 p.m. GMT, which is kinda the time I would need to start drinking if anyone from GMT wants to participate.
