if i ever spent that much money on coffee like you TB, i would be so broke, its crazy how much money people are willing to spend on a drink. But everyone has there reasons for drinking it, whether is addiction or necessary at the time. I just have never like any kind of coffee, kind of like beer, just never did it for meh! But then again when Starbucks are sittin on almost every street corner like here, its hard not to drive by one and not want to get something like most people, the drive thru's are always full.

Up to $50 a week on coffee alone is insane. I only spend that much on food and rent, and I need those things to, you know, live. I guess that's probably cos I'm poor though.
I'd probably spend more than that on CDs if I was a learned doctor like you.

Oh I know it's a lot of money every year to spend on coffee, last time my friends worked it out it was just over 2600 a year. Thankfully I make a decent living, so I can afford to support my habit lol. As I said in the last post though, that's for espresso based lattes, so it's a bit more than regular coffee, plus I get charged extra for soy milk as I can't have regular milk.

Well my three major weaknesses are coffee, books and shoes. I'm not even getting into how much I spend per month on the last two, lets just say it's a lot. I mean I do have a mortgage payment and car payment to make every month along with other expenses, but I'm lucky enough to be able to afford things like Starbucks on a regular basis. As for my groceries, I spend more than I need to because I'm not great at doing one major shop for the week. I will get a bunch of stuff on the weekends, but then after seeing patients all day I might not want to cook a full meal, or I have a craving for something, so I'm at the store nearly every day getting something new for dinner or stuff I didn't think of on the weekend, which means I end up spending way more than I need to.

Thats completely understandable, if i had to deal with patients all day, which some of them have to be huge pains in the ass, i wouldnt want to cook or make anything either! maybe thats why i like pizza so much, so easy to make or pick up..... maybe you should try living off of pizza, it works!

There is no way I could live off of pizza. Number one the sheer amount of cheese would kill me with my lactose intolerance. Number two unlike some people (this meaning you) I can't eat the same thing every day. If I forced myself I might be able to have pizza once a week, but that's as far as I could go. Plus it's too heavy for me to have every day, I need vegetables and fruit. You should try them some time KM! They won't kill you, I swear!

Are you sure they wont? i had a banana about a year ago, and it made me sick, it was not good! fruit is good, i try to eat it, but most of the time i just dont want to eat it. As for veggie, i love me some carrots, the baby ones, nom nom! i could eat those all day, but really thats really one of the only vegetables i like, all the green stuff, i can live without it! I know you couldnt live off of pizza, i wish you could, i know i can! haha. i cant imagine i would handle the lactose intolerant thing very well, i know i would be in bad moods all the time not being able to eat pizza as often as i do, i wont say how often, but its more than once a week to say the least!

I had an apple and a kiwi fruit for dinner last night. It was good. Then I ruined it with a crapload of ice cream.

Dude, that's the only way to eat it. Mushing it up makes it taste so much better. You know what's weird? My brother likes his ice cream soft, so if it's too hard the little baby will put in the microwave until it's soft enough. Then he eats semi-warm ice cream! I seriously question his sanity sometimes.
I'm trying to decide what to eat for dinner tonight right now. Should it be nachos or noodle cup? Or...two meat pies?

Oh crap, now I have to venture outside. What sort of vengeful God is there that he makes me leave my house in 2 degree weather!? I need at least 20 degrees to function normally. Then again, if my drunken self hadn't left my driver's license at a bar in the city I wouldn't need to ride half an hour to pick it up.

I'm not normally all that forgetful, but when I'm drunk things just seem to go walkabout. I was at a family reunion on Saturday and I was hittin' the sauce pretty hard. Got carded, and had three drinks to carry. I'd had around 10 by that stage, so of course I left my ID on the bar and the bartender didn't see me do it. Fast forward to this morning and I realised it wasn't in my wallet, called the bar and thank God they had it.
That's not the worst story I've had though. I went to a music festival a couple years back, got friendly with a bottle of vodka (and maybe some tequila, but who really knows these things in the light of day). In the morning, turned out I'd lost my glasses, phone, iPod got dropped in a toilet, tent got slashed open and I lost my sleeping bag. Was one of the worst and one of the best weekends of my life all at once.
