Must drink to forget that I gave into peer pressure... electronic peer pressure at that. My roommate tried to get me on facebook a while back and gave the site my email so it started emailing me being like "If your account existed adam would already be your friend!". And it would keep sending them like twice a month or so. And while I'm sure the text stayed the same, in my mind it was becoming more and more pleading, telling me I am a bad person for making Adam so lonely, which is a crock of shit because he's the one who's never home making me the lonely one (shut up you, it's not what you were just thinking you dirty, dirty boys - purely a matter of having so many dishes to do). But after like the 8th one (and at this point it was describing the infinite torture in the foulest bowels of hell that I had subjected Adam too for not deigning to join facebook), I just fucking went and confirmed it.

So now I'm on stupid facebook. I'm not going to be some psycho against-it person, i'm in so I might as well jot down some interests and upload a pic (though I made up two bands because I couldn't think of any other than Bond). And I've head too many stories of people trying to fight the mighty facebook but getting sucked in anyways, so I'm just going to try and pedal-kick my head above the surface for as long as possible but I know I'm doomed.

Fire me up some Johnny Walker Blue, barkeep, I may as well go down drinking the good stuff...

One of us, one of us. oogaa boogaa. oogaa boogaa!

And now that you're on facebook, you shall find your taste in good things fading.

How's a shot of Popov's sound?

Would that be abstract tastes like crappy taste in fashion or literal tastes like food turning to ash in my mouth?

And normally I'd say no way hosay I can't handle the vodka, eh? But then again, it'll just taste like ash in my mouth so sure!

Both, in time. Muahahahahaa. First you'll be running around in Uggs and next, fine cuisine will be instant-ramen with a dash of dried cilantro.

That sounds pretty good actually, but then again I already eat like a starving student (because I am one)...

God I love the world cup! Although this England/USA game is fraying my nerves! I'm on the edge of my seat here! England has had so many near goals, it's driving me nuts! Nice to see they're pressing as aggressively as they are. Go England! Oh and for anyone who got up early enough this morning it was fantastic to see South Korea work Greece over for an entire game! As usual Argentina came out on fire and then fell apart, no surprise there and Maradona was just ridiculous there in his suit. I can't take that man seriously. That goal by South Africa yesterday was beautiful as well, a real bullet. I'm in heaven atm!!!! Drinks all around! Now back to the game.....

@Pathos well done on getting through the semester. I agree you must burn the heretic, I'm sure DW will be willing to help!

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the American side at all, not because they are American, but because I'm not a fan of their style of play. Not to mention I am sick of the cocky attitude they've been displaying thus far. Not to mention the Donovan fever that seems to have swept the nation. He's a good player I won't deny that but he's not going to be the saviour of the team and he's not on par with a lot of the other international stars they'll be facing. They are holding their own in this game though, but I don't think they're going to go very far in the tournament, that's just my opinion.

Just wanted to add that while I may not like the USA, Howard has been unreal today. He's definitely earned his place on that team, I can't believe some of the stops he's made.

Well yes it goes without saying that I am cheering for Brazil. I've always loved Brazil, their style of play and finesse are unmatched. Last world cup I was cheering for Trinidad and Tobago of course, and actually went along with a huge group of my family to Germany. There was major Trini pride going on, it was amazing. Normally though I'm all about Brazil.

Oh darn it a draw. Excellent game though. :p

I'm going to pretend I didn't just read that SB, and will give you a doughnut instead. Blasphemy of that sort is just not tolerable!

@Pathos Yes I have no plans of giving up my crown any time soon. I was thinking a trickster skittle shot night might be in order at some point.

a drinking game night would be pretty cool i think... that way there wouldnt need to be a set time to join or anything...people could just join in when they can...and then there is no winner loser problems :p

This is why you wait until about 5 minutes are left in the match to turn it on. That way all they'll be showing is the highlights from the hour and whatever before.

That way its ALMOST as action packed as a real sport :p

You two can say what you want, it's the best sport in the world hands down. Way better than watching hockey or baseball. You don't need people beating the crap out of each other or heavy hitting for a sport to be good. There is a real art and beauty to soccer, and it can keep you on the edge of your seat if you understand the game.
