The first pic (of mine) where I feel the hair looks like hair and the landscape looks like landscape... I'm very happy how this came out :o
I used reference for the background.

What do you think about the skin-clolour, the armour and the eyes? I did no research in the books...

Best Korlat art made so far. Brilliant!
Though I always pictured Andii changing eye colors as the whole eyeball, not just the iris... but that's just me.

Yes, I was unsure about the eyes. To be honest, it's kinda hard to give them a focus, or even a direction of sight without pupils...:p

I just looked up the encyclopedia... But I found nothing about it. I guess I will make some alternative looks :p

I should also add that I really, really like the hair. Skin tone is handled great as well, always thought that must be a challenge with the Andii.

Nice work. extra points for skipping massive pointy ears or Everquest elf-ho armour.
Skin tone and armour totally work and i'm not bothered by the eyes.

@Kanubis: Thanks! I'm very pleased with the hair. I looked at sooooo many hair tutorials to get it right...
I was a bit afraid of the skin-tone, too, especially the highlights and the backlighting. But it went really well. Now I'm much more afraid of the napanesian skin-tone...:p

@abyss: :D Thank you, dear si... tentacat! Actually, I tried to make the ears a bit different, I went for attached earlobes. I'm afraid, it's not really visible...
I had to google Everquest first to understand your remark. The "armour" - shudder!!! Its more like steel-bras and panties... very practical!:p

all three look great but i think in the absence of a confirm/deny from SE the third one is the most accurate. and plus they look great. very life-like and all. it makes me want to see her with violet or teal or navy coloured eyes or something. or maybe the colour they are when her and WJ... well, you know :o

Tiste Andi have vertical pupils and Korlat's eyes are frequently described as violet. The only Andii with red eyes is Silchas Ruin, so I think it would be good to change them.
Other than that I think it's a great effort and as has been said - you've managed to avoid the whole elf/drow thing and still made her look sexy and serious - very well done :o

Fantastic pics !

I agree with Hetan about the whole vertical pupils/ violet eyes thing but it's a minor quibble really, personally I think the third one is the best, reminds me of the album cover for Ozzy Osbourne's Ultimate Sin album.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Andii eyes are facetted. I think it's when Baruk meets Anomander for the first time. You might want to check Gardens of the Moon for a reference.
