Wow, that was a ton of stuff to take in. Well, I'd certainly be down with an Omtose lynch. That PM D'riss quoted is certainly more incriminating than Omtose's 'Ha! got you' message.

The thing about guards is they need to happen before said target commits an action. Pretty sure that's how it worked in the last game, and in this one (cf. guy trying to stop catwoman going out, but failing). So a guard would need to get it in before the guard target commits an action.

Unless someone has an 'instant' guard.

I'm also down with an Omtose lynch. The case against him seems to be the strongest and we'll get the most info the fastest.

No.
The provisional is only accepted if it says: target X, provisional Y.

Y is only targeted if X is already dead before the phase in which this action is taken.
As such, in your example, so and so must be Y.

Well Omtose definitely seems like a good lynch with that evidence though im slightly concerned that his sudden attack right when Ruse was on the chopping block suggest he might be more of a pawn and Ruse the master, but either way they both seem like likely scum at this point and Omtose looks like the most likely lynch so
