I think I have an idea where I want to vote today, but I will go ahead and give up a small piece of information that I have learned over time...

Fener's vote on Tellan seems to be predicated upon the fact that Tellan is the chess player. I know who the chess player is and 1) It's not Tellan and 2) I'm pretty confident that the chess player is not actually scum.

Tellan could still be scum, but if so, it's not for being the chess player.

So you have no patience for chess?

The car stopped next to the man in the white suit. "He wants you to go here."
The other frowned. "He can ask me. Nicely."
"He could," the driver replied. "But he does not."
The other sniffed, then kicked a street lantern. This was not worth getting into a fight with the bureaucracy for."

The bald dude is more than likely Rashan - I'm still undecided on whether or not he would be syndicate if mr green is - forcing your teammates to change votes would be very WIFOM with all the attention it gives them. I havent seen mention of someone being bald in any of the other scenes, so there's not much info to try tell either way.

Tellan, the two quotes at the top are from before the Day 1 lynch. I definitely agree that the first post is likely a forced vote, but the second one I am not so sure... why would the "man in the white suit" be Syndicate from that scene? He doesn't want to get in the car but has no choice. That's why I feel like that could also be a forced vote... Rashan could be the man in the white suit, but I don't see how he could be bald.

The man in the white suit doesnt necessarily have to be syndicate - I kind of doubt that syndicate would have the ability to manipulate the votes of people on in their own team. Would seem a little pointless.

And why couldn't Rashan be bald? He had his vote messed with twice, and the two phone conversations definitely seem to be about the same person. So it's much more likely that Rashan was targeted by mr green than the politician, who only seems to have messed with votes once.

I think I am not understanding you. What exactly about the bald man makes you think it's Rashan? The bald man smokes cigarettes, and apparently is talking to the smoking woman. I don't see how that could indicate he's having his vote influenced, and therefore is Rashan.

Rashan - messed with twice. Green Guy messes with someone twice. One of whom is described as being bald... I dont think it's the same person as is talking to the smoking lady.

No, it was a guess.

You're implying that I don't like chess, which means you're implying that I'm the guy in this scene, right?

Quote

They made an unlikely pair, the long faced man approaching middle age, absorbed in the match, and the young man with the expensive taste in clothes, leaning back as he made his moves and studying everything but the board. “Why are we playing this game?” he asked at some point, with a wink to a lovely young Japanese student.
“I need to know how you think if we are to work together,” the other answered.
“Weird. All you’ll learn is that I have no patience for chess.”

No, I am not that man. I would think that somewhat obvious. As I told you, I have discovered the information, but I am not going to reveal the source (be it an ability, another player, etc). Simply stated, you are not the chess man. If I thought the chess man was scum, I'd give his ass away in a heartbeat.

@Tellan, how the hell did I miss the 'bald' text in that statement? Wow, I feel really blind.

OK, so it does seem pretty clear that it's either Rashan or Meanas that is bald. Rashan is a good candidate simply because I could see the syndicate forcing him to vote or remove vote on two occasions (staying with the same person could be a tactic to keep the pool of likely "old men" larger).

Now I think the person I want to vote for is either GL or Meanas. GL always sounds suspicious but that could just be how he talks. Meanas is basically based upon GL's mystery vote. If GL doesn't know how to put in a case that Meanas is scum, he (Meanas) very well could be. But if GL is scum, he could just be constructing a poor case.

Well it was just a guess, wanted to see what your reaction would be.

Well considering it's against the rules to reveal who you are, even if I were that guy, I would deny it.

But, for what it's worth, I'm really not that guy :)

3 Votes for Galain ( Emurlahn, Kaschan, Silanah )
1 Vote for Gamelon ( Liosan )
1 Vote for Hood's Path ( Omtose )
1 Vote for Meanas ( Spite )
2 Votes for Ruse ( Tellan, D'riss )
1 Vote for Kaschan ( Olar Ethil )
1 Vote for Liosan ( Galayn Lord )
1 Vote for Olar Ethil ( Serc )
1 Vote for Spite ( Mockra )

13 Votes for Korvalain ( Fener, Galayn Lord, Sheltatha Lore, Eloth, Meanas, Mockra, Silanah, Omtose, D'riss, Shadow, Kaschan, Rashan )

11 Votes for Shadow ( Silanah, Gamelon, D'riss, Mockra, Serc, Olar Ethil, Eloth, Galain, Fener, Tellan, Hood's Path )
2 Votes for Galain ( Shadow, Liosan )

Only people we've had confirmed CFs upon are Emur, Shadow, and Korv. Korv didn't vote at all. I can account for a total 3 of 3 Chinese votes. That goes to 5 if you also include Omtose (who Korv called Chinese). We know Chinese had the most votes (yesterday, I think?), but they've now lost a few players so they may fall behind.

Just an FYI, we should definitely not go hunting factions yet. Syndicate are still #1.

As of yesterday's lynch, everyone has voted in the following manner:

D'riss (2 votes)
Eloth (2 votes)
Emurlahn (1 vote)
Fener (2 votes)
Galain (1 vote)
Galayn Lord (2 votes)
Gamelon (1 vote)
Hood's Path (1 vote)
Kaschan (2 votes)
Korvalain (0 votes)
Liosan (2 votes)
Meanas (1 vote)
Mockra (3 votes)
Olar Ethil (2 votes)
Omtose (2 votes)
Rashan (1 vote? - day 2 vote was 'forced on,' day 3 vote was 'forced off')
Ruse (0 votes)
Serc (2 votes)
Shadow (2 votes)
Sheltatha Lore (1 vote)
Silanah (3 votes)
Spite (1 vote)
Tellan (2 votes)

The two that stand out the most to me are Rashan and Ruse. Rashan has had no 'visible' votes at the end of the day, although he did vote yesterday. It seems likely he's getting set up because what scum would deliberately affect his own votes that way?

Ruse has no votes at all. He's among the lower posters, but no votes? However, I actually think that makes him more likely to be a spy that just doesn't know his team and is trying to not lynch anybody in fear of hitting his own team. But that's not set in stone... we have plenty of reason to believe there could be Syndicate that don't know anybody, and his vote wasn't ever needed for a lynch since Day 1 was stalled out and Days 2 and 3 had plenty of extras.

Also, note that Galain was voted by Emur on Day 1 and Shadow on Day 3. Could be a clue that they really were the same person and that the person knew Galain was not Chinese.

It's very possible, and it's probably one of the reasons why Shadow pretty much jumped at it on Day 3. He must really not like Galain. :)

Since Shadow probably came up Spy, and I figure there's at least some connection between the two, it makes me less likely to consider GL as scum. I would think he knows who Meanas is (be it scum or otherwise), but I don't know what he's trying to achieve with just 'revealing [his] suspect' and laying down a vote.

No one wants to talk? And 6 anons? Figures. As soon as I show up...sigh.

Well, I have to leave soon, and likely won't be around for deadline, so it would be ideal to make this time constructive.
