After seeing the Machete trailer, I remembered that I've also enjoyed "Once Upon a time in Mexico" immensely, and it was considered a sequel to "Desperado"

It was a great shoot'em up flick where Johny Depp gets his eyes scooped out, with zero love-based subplots and non-stop action. What more can one possibly want?

Desperado was the sequel to El Mariarchi dude

You did not seriously think that Predator 2 could contend with Predator... there are none who can...

Largely gonna repeat others, but here goes:

The Empire Strikes Back
Aliens
Spider-Man 2 (until Spider-Man 3 tanked the whole franchise for me :kallor: )
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

The Two Towers-we're past the boring intros, sort of, and onto the more interesting things.

Nah Two Towers had that massively long boring bit with Aragorn and Arwen so all the girls would watch it for the love story...

Just to clarafy

Are we counting ture sequeals ie 'the 2nd film' or any film after the first?

Though in the case of evil dead i'd call army of darkness the sequeal as 1 and 2 were the same plot just reshot with a bigger budget.

TTFN
