Garden of the Moon-isms

I have this vague vanity project in mind. I'm going to re-write (or at least heavily edit) Gardens of the Moon on my computer, and then when I have the money send it in to a vanity publisher for a single hard-bound copy, for my own personal use, as a volume that's in correlation with the rest of the series. Again, this is necessarily something I'm limiting to myself, to avoid treading on any copyrighted toes.
As an ancillary to this though, I thought it would be interesting to put together a formal list of GotMisms, which I'm going to watch out for (in addition to brushing up the prose here and there, and smoothing out inconsistencies).
So, let's begin:
* "Warrens," capitalized. All shall be "warrens."
* Quick's rather silly "Awaken the Seven!" moment.
* Fiddler's age. Probably needs to be a few years older. More hints as to his and Whiskeyjack's mutual past, though they actually exist in GotM.
* The ages of various ancient entities, which seem to be bumped up an order of magnitude in later books.
* The arcane knowledge of common mages, which also seems to be much vaster in later books. Baruk's unfamiliarity with Tiste Andii, or Tayschrenn's lack of knowledge about Moon's Spawn. It seems as though later in the series,
everyone has a much wider breadth of information on such topics.
* Spoken spells. Still not sure if this is out of whack with later books - I think we see it once or twice as late as TTH and DoD.
* T'lan Imass being referred to simply as "T'lan" instead of as "Imass."
Others?

I finally have an avatar ... and it's better than yours.

That time Kalam accidentally calls Quick Ben "Aslan"...it's never brought up again.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

T'lan Imass being able to deaden magic.
Could be wrong but I dont think Anomander Rake is called the Chaos Mane after GotM.

I want to die the way my dad died, peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Orfantal being a woman in GotM.
"Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away."

This could take you a looooong time, Kurt! XD
Hell, I wonder how much of the action in this book would have taken place as it did if you bring it all up to date with what people seem to know later on...but I digress, that's just silly, lol.
But I wish you best of luck, and if I ever think of any extras to add I'll drop 'em in.

Esslemont does this in his books too, I believe--so it's not really a "GotMism" per se.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

That's more of a 'only-read-cliff-notes-of-every-book-after-DG'ism.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Hahaha... "because I am Jesus"
"Hell" would be really odd, I need to reread Gardens somewhen.

Yes, one of them does - it's a confirmed GotMism by SE himself.
