The six remaining foodstuffs glared at each other with contempt.
"Get that guy!" some shouted at one of the noisier fellows. He was nearly shoved over the edge into the fryer when he held up his hands.
"Wait wait wait wait wait!" Are you insane?! I'm not your guy!"
This made everyone stop and pause. "Well... who is then?!"
"That other guy!" Everyone turned to the targeted individual who started moaning and moping.
"Oh, I hate you guys! Why do you think it's me? I tried to save Galain yesterday but for some reason my buttery goodness made him slip over the edge."
"Oops, that was my fault... I er... may have accidentally tripped him," said someone else.
The crowd turned toward the accused again, and set upon him. "Bah, fine!" he shouted, and jumped up on the edge.
"I'm tired of this cloak and dagger, running around! I just wanted to win but I'd rather take myself than let you take me!" He put his hands together and bent his knees to jump in.
"Wait!" someone shouted, suddenly speaking up. "Let's just get that quiet guy, instead!"
"Wha--no, not me! Nooooooo!" he shouted, as they plucked the eyes off of his skin to reveal... a pink surface underneath the fake skin!
Ampelas was lynched. He was meat.
"Great work everyone!" went a cheer from the crowd. They looked each other over, 5 potatoes ready to get back at it.
No one has died.
It is Day 5.
