Malazan Empire: Gesler and Stormy - Malazan Empire

i'm re-reading DG and i came across something interesting. it's not super important but interesting to note.

I think Stormy and Gesler are gay.

When Felisin and crew get rescued by Kulp and co., Felisin propositions the marines.

Felisin: "When did you last lie with a woman?"

Stormy: "That would be a year and a day, the night I dressed up as a Kanese harlot -- had Gesler fooler for hours. Mind you, he was pretty drunk. Mind you, so was I."

Gesler: "That's a soldier's life for you. Too thick to know the difference..."

Stormy: "Too drunk to care,"

Gesler: "you got it, Stormy. Play your games elsewhere, lass. No offense, but we've done enough rutting to know when an offer's got hiddren chains. You can't buy what ain't for sale, anyhow."

I got nuttin against homosexual people, but i found this fascinating.
