As evening approached, one man did not emerge from his room and would not respond to any calls from the hall. The palace staff knocked on the door, saying, "Fu Wan! His eminence approaches soon for the evening meal. You must come out!" There was no response, and when Yuan Shao arrived, he ordered the guard to open the room by force. When it opened, its occupant was found inside, dead. Shao's physician knelt over the body and said, "This man has not opened his mouth in days. He has died of dehydration."

Kaschan (Gwynn ap Nudd) was modkilled. He was Fu Wan, First Secretary of the Han.

Shao returned to the officials at the banquet. With the knowledge provided by the informant, Qin Qintong, as well as his own officers' inquiries, the Prime Minister was certain that the Imperial Uncle Liu Bei was the chief conspirator. But accusing, let alone, arresting a honoured relative of Emperor Xian remained above the privileges of his rank, and he was irritated that the court had not yet convicted the man, despite his Grand Marshall guiding them to that very conclusion. So it was with great pleasure that Yuan Shao received the solemn pronouncement of the gathered officials declaring that the Imperial Uncle Liu Bei seemed to be conspiring against the Prime Minister, and therefore the Han Dynasty itself.

"It saddens me greatly to give this order," Shao said, "but the responsibilities imposed upon me by such a consensus of the officials of the Secretariat, Chancellery and Department of State Affairs surpasses the privileges and duties of all men who serve the Son of Heaven. Guards, please escort the Imperial Uncle to the gaol."

As Liu Bei was being escorted out, he made a discreet hand gesture that was unremarked by most at the court. A select few men, however, noted the gesture and saw that it pointed to the official Jian Yong, who in turn was watching the Prime Minister exchange glances with the Grand Marshall Chunyu Qiong.

Spite (Gavin) is dead. He was Liu Bei, Imperial Uncle.

In the morning, only Yang Dajang appeared to lead the officials through the lengthy debate of the extent of the Imperial Uncle's involvement. A search party soon found Chunyu Qiong's remains hidden in an abandoned cellar. When news of this tragedy reached Yuan Shao, he openly weeped at the loss and ordered his bailiffs to renew their efforts at torturing Ji Ping for the other conspirators' names. He then sent orders for Chunyu Qiong to be buried with the highest honours ever given to one of three Elder Lords.

Liosan (Obdigore) is dead. He was Chunyu Qiong, Grand Marshall of the Han.

My worries over our inability to act have made me ill." "You have nothing to worry about," the physician replied. "The traitor's life is in these hands. He suffers from chronic headaches, with pain that pierces his marrow. The moment one comes on, he calls for me; and the next time he does, I will administer a treatment sure to kill him. Why bother with weapons?" "If we succeed in this," Liu Bei answered, "the sacred shrines of the Han will owe their salvation to you." Ji Ping then took his leave.

imo gamelon is probably a symp...but i feel we are better served looking for the other killer. not sure where to start, but it's the weekend so don't have much time. back sporadically

I still stand by my opinion that lynching Spite was the wrong thing to do. I think we should at least have tried to see if we couldnt get another night with no kill, but it seems that noone agreed with me. Without the extra night to confirm it, we can't know for sure that the kill was passed on, but in the case that it is, I would think the people that were eager to vote Spite off as opposed to keeping him alive would most likely be scum - the scum would know that the worst thing that could happen to them would be us keeping the killer from killing while hunting for the other scum.

I see what you are saying, but honestly I think it's better to have a dead scum than leave them hanging around, because Mafia can take weird turns. I've seen scum who've hung around manage to finagle their way out of the most ridiculous of situations because they weren't lynched and a CF never got realized.

With Spite dead, we KNOW that those who defended him or were connected to him are possible scum. Absent that CF, despite how probable his CF is, it's still a wild damned goose chase.

Gamelon is interesting now, because he said he guarded Liosan night two... yet no kill went through when Liosan was guarding Spite. I think Gamelon is either the one to inherit the kill or another symp.

Since he was at much pain to make his point that he wasn't calling Liosan a liar, I think his game plan was to keep Spite alive and yet not start a fight against a PI/CI. I think he's the new killer.

It's obvious the Liosan was actually blocking the killer. Otherwise, he would have died night 3 after having revealed. Thus, only after Lui Bei dies, does the new inherited killer become unfettered and is able to kill because he is unblocked.

If Gamelon's story was correct, Lui Bei would have killed somebody night 2, as he was unblocked thanks to Gamelon blocking the ACTUAL ROLED INNO GUARD. Since that didn't happen, we can only assume Liosan WAS NOT BLOCKED, guarded Lui Bei/Spite, and Gamelon is lying through his teeth about it.
