Well, Norton tried to make Hulk story deadly serious, something about the psychological and tragic aspects of the Banner character. Supposedly Norton did a lot of work on that and in the end it was all cut from the film and it became a much different product. Personally I thought the movie was boring, Norton lackluster and the Hulk was rather less impressive than the earlier Hulk movie with Eric Bana.

Tim Roth saved that film from being complete pants.

You raise decent points, but bottom line is Hulk vs big electro thingy under water = FAIL. Hulk vs Abomination = WIN.

I also liked how the Nortonhulk film depicted Banner as a clever survivor trying to control his monster, while Banahulk was basically running scared most of the flic.

As an aside I was mildly dissappointed that we didn't see Nortonhulk use the brazillian martial arts he was doing at the beginning of the film on the Abomination, but that's an aside.

I think they should cast Steve Buschemi as Bruce Banner. It would be awesome.

I saw a behind the scenes video on superherohype a while ago. There was a picture of Thor running in mountains. He looked fucking HUGE.
